If you haven’t been to Naan and Brew, drop everything and go. My husband and I had a meal there that was nothing short of incredible!
We kicked things off with the Chicken Samosa with Chaat and—OMG—mind-blowing. It was easily the best I’ve ever had; if I were forced to pick a favorite from the night, this would be it. We followed that up by splitting the Butter Chicken Fries (pure heaven), the Meat Combo Plate (absolutely packed with flavor), and some perfect Garlic Naan. Honestly, every single bite was a 10/10.
To wash it all down, they have a fantastic beer selection with five IPAs on tap. We shared a Reuben’s Brews IPA, which was the perfect crisp pairing for the spices.
What really made the night, though, was the vibe. Everyone there was so incredibly nice. Our waitress/bartender was so kind and helpful, and even the chef came out to chat with us! It’s rare to find that level of hospitality paired with such incredible food. What a wonderful experience!
The spice is higher than average so your three might be a two here.
I ordered the lamb vindaloo at spice level 2 and can honestly say it was the best lamb I’ve had at an Indian restaurant in years. The naan is also super fresh and buttery – all around it was delicious and will be our new go-to for the cuisine.
I just wish branding wise they’d lean more into the Indian culture and less sports bar vibe. A warmer paint tone, ambiance music, and some candles would go a long way here! Other than that, food is worth it!
Our typical meal starts with pappadum, with sides of mint chutney and tamarind (I think they call it sweet & sour) chutney. We often get a beer (their selection isn’t large but they have our favorites including Boundary Bay Scotch Ale) or a mango lassi.
All the entrees we’ve tried (we are vegetarian) are spectacular – even when they’re ordered with minimal “spice”. Really lovely rich flavors. We’ve had the paneer tikka masala, malai kafta, shahi paneer, aloo gobi, mattar paneer, vegetable korma, eggplant bhartha, channa masala, and more. I normally am not a fan of channa masala but I really like theirs – the beans are well-cooked, not mealy, and the sauce is thick.
Service is always friendly and efficient, and we have never had a mistake on an order. The restaurant isn’t fancy or highly decorated, but the table and chairs are in good shape and impeccably clean. Oh, and there are a couple TVs in case someone in your party wants to catch a game or whatever. 🙂 Highly recommended!
This is not indian food, india is known for its spices, and mind you I didnt find a single spice/flavour in that wrap. I really hope the owner reads this and takes the wraps out of the menu. Worst worst.
What did they give us for kids tandoori chicken ? Red food colored dry chicken and two spoons of rice???? My kid is 4 years old, and could easily eat twice that amount. Please do justice to the prices! The mint chutney also looked like it had more food coloring and less mint. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
All of this for $50. Sorry not worth it
