Food was delicious and prepared quickly. We don’t have Zaxbys in MD so whenever we go down south we are sure to stop by. It was early afternoon and the restaurant area was spotless. The staff was very nice. Can’t wait to by again next time we visit Richmond.

Service was fast and kind. Food was ok. Feels like Zaxbys aren’t what they used to be or maybe it’s this one.
Paid with cash and told due to the coin shortage they couldn’t give me change. Ahhh it’s October 2022. Interesting. It Is a good way to make a little extra every day.

I was visiting from out of town with my boys, and we stopped by Zaxby’s because they were hungry. Although the restaurant was close to closing, the doors were still open. A young lady was cleaning the lobby but didn’t acknowledge us at all—she just kept cleaning without even a glance.
Another young woman behind the counter asked if we were there for a pickup. When we said no, she walked away without explanation. We stood there for at least 5–10 minutes before the girl from the lobby finally came behind the counter, but even then, she never said a word—not even “I’ll be right with you.”
This was hands down the rudest customer service experience I’ve ever had. It was frustrating, disappointing, and unacceptable. If you don’t want to work in customer service, that’s understandable—but until you move on, at least show some basic respect to the people coming through the door.
Zaxby’s needs to address this. It left a terrible impression, and as a paying customer, I expected better.

Went there at 7:20ish tonight and the sign was off, all of the parking lot lights were out and there were very few lights on inside the building.

Sauceless wings were supposed to be tongue torch. They were very much plain. My hot honey mustard boneless were as cold as my drink. To wait in a super long line and receive this below average quality of food is very disappointing.

Not as good as I remember or as nice as Staples Mill. I waited 20 minutes for a grilled cheese and the sliders. There were no other guests in the restaurant. After the long wait the fries were hard, cold and unseasoned. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean though. The parking lot could use some love.

I always enjoy Zaxby’s, and this visit was no exception! Their chicken fingers are absolutely delicious, and I love that they offer so many sauce options—way more variety than Raising Cane’s. The crinkle fries needed a bit more salt, but that was an easy fix. The Texas toast, on the other hand, was a little too salty for my taste. The coleslaw was just okay, nothing special.
Now, the cheesecake bites were amazing, but they forgot my strawberry sauce, which was a little disappointing. However, they totally redeemed themselves with the frozen lemonade, absolute perfection! Seriously, it was chef’s kiss good.
Overall, Zaxby’s is definitely my go-to over Raising Cane’s, and I’ll keep coming back! Just a few small tweaks, and it would’ve been a five-star meal.
