I understand that high-quality ingredients aren’t cheap or easy to come by, but the cost for what you get is a little wild. There’s no reason that the bill should be over $200 for 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 temaki sets (mostly vegetarian), and a dessert (4 churros). We had a reservation but service was slow and disorganized. The time between getting drinks, the appetizer, and the entrees was lengthy. It’s also a personal pet peeve of mine when the bill is over $100 and they give you a ToastTab (handheld payment device) to pay the bill. Please use a checkbook. It elevates service.
The food was incredible. I enjoyed the salmon sashimi and temaki sets. The drinks were okay, we didn’t get the correct sake that we ordered. Churros were delicious! I left with a happy stomach and felt satisfied.
The food was just as good as the first time I had it. Great flavors, very fresh. My favorite is the XO scallop, sooo good. I also tried a lychee cocktail and it was delicious.
If you are looking for a date spot or having an important 1 on 1 for a business lunch or dinner this is the spot.
Served the signature temaki set:
Tuna poke
Xo scallop (with roe)
Coconut shrimp (with cilantro and lime)
Salmon and Serrano (with cucumber? Shavings for the cool down)
Black sesame and cucumber
My first time here. Day after Valentine’s.
Yes, still party of 1.
Sometimes it’s easier to imagine my person was lost on his biking expedition in the CO mountains.
OpenTable reservation. Gave my name at hostess.
Seated at counter.
Server with glass of water and small saucer of ginger; came after 10 minutes being seated, felt like forever.
Restroom right around corner, pretty clean.
Although prices were high, the quality of the food that was presented tasted amazing. If you are adventerous and want to try an app, the minimum five Temaki, a drink. a cocktail and dessert, expect to pay about $100-120 a person.
Ask for spicy mayo for the Furikake Fries.
Highly recommend getting a reservation.
Plenty of parking options nearby.
The space feels bright and calm and the staff were so friendly. It’s a solid spot for a relaxed dinner or nice date night. I’ll definitely be back!
I ordered the toro and scallion, XO scallop, and Hokkaido uni temakis, and each one was outstanding. We also added a few appetizers, including the caviar service and the furikake fries. The fries were great, but I wish we tried them with mentaiko too.
If you love high quality temaki and a relaxed but thoughtful dining experience, Nami Nori is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommend!
Everyone was so nice , especially Bri our server. Great recommendations, preparation , service , and quality.
We sat the higher sushi bar and had a great experience with Mike and Kevin. Their energy and enthusiasm for the food made the experience 10x better , not that it needed to be better! We will 100% be back.
Thank you
Ask for the crunchy wrap…it’s amazing! I can’t wait to return!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
