My food was delivered somewhat cold, an hour and 10 minutes after I ordered it, and they brought me the wrong drink. I paid 2627 with the service fee, not including tip to driver and I’m really not that happy with what I received.

Almost perfect. The burger is a classic smash, good house sauce and a soft bun. The fries are excellent too – the rough texture fried kind. Compare it to Smash Burger and you’re on the right track. Well worth a burger and fries craving. Seating is limited inside.

We’ve tried a bunch of burgers from the menu, but the Car Signature Burger is hands down my favorite, perfectly cooked always, and somehow still craveable even after you’re full. Their milkshakes are next level too. We usually order online, and by the time we get there, the food’s already waiting. It’s fast without sacrificing quality and the staff here makes the experience even better. They’re consistently kind, attentive, and always get the little details right, like the extra instructions in the hand note section. Whether we’re adjusting an order or adding something last-minute, they’re super helpful and fast. It’s the kind of place where you genuinely feel like your order matters and you can rely on the fast service.
We usually take our food to go, but the times we’ve eaten inside, it’s been just as great. The waffle fries with honey mustard…underrated, and don’t sleep on the desserts either trust me.
Car’s has become more than just a food stop—it’s part of our routine whenever we’re in Montclair. It’s rare to find a place that’s this consistent, fast, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. Highly recommend!!

Honestly love this place! I’ve been going here since undergrad at MSU when I tried the donut burger for the first time and it was 10/10. Now I just go back for the Mac and cheese bite. And I will definitely be getting those by the end of this week! Anywho CARS is a fire place to eat for your late night cravings ! Or day time cravings lol!

I came to visit my sister from California and was craving something similar to In N’ Out or Shake Shack and discovered Cars for the first time … needless to say I think it’s my new fave burger spot! There are so many options and I love how there are vegetarian options as we’re both vegetarians. I love how cute and aesthetically pleasing the decor is inside and I also love the concept behind the names of each burger. It is definitely unique and such a great late night spot when you have the late night munchies! Can’t wait to come back and visit 🙂

everything was very underwhelming, i asked for my wings crispy and received the complete opposite, i feel shorted on the fries, in the photo that’s all i received, and the wings lacked flavor and lacked the sauce i requested. i would’ve give 2 stars if i wasn’t over charged for a processing fee that i tried to avoid by paying cash. this really disappoints me because i used to love ordering from cars, now i don’t know if i could say the same

I liked it but only gave it 3 stars because it’s more a “wow” for the experience than the food. Got a chicken finger stuffed sandwich with honey mustard stuffed with mozzarella sticks, onion rings and French fries. Sauced perfectly. Wish it was more of a chicken finger sandwich though. Although the combo was tasty, I felt like I was only eating sides, it needed more “meat” to it.
Got the Mac and cheese bites. Tasty but too hearty to eat more than 1 per sitting! Also had this starchy consistency in them that was a little weird.
I got to try my friend’s fried pickles though… Let me preface my comment with, I’m kind of a fried pickles snob and get them everywhere… These were PHENOMENAL. Probably one of the best, if not the best spears I’ve had. Crunchy, seasoned well, v cooked perfect, wish I had more.

Indulgent menu made from the stuff of a college guy’s wackiest dreams. Unfortunately, the menu is cut down a bit from what I’ve seen before the pandemic – the pork items are missing – so I ended up getting the fat soprano sandwich (meatballs, ravioli, mozzarella sticks, and marinara sauce). It was pretty good, not as heavy and overwhelming as I thought it would be, but I was prepared for that so I would try something else next time. The real stars of the show were the sides. I got their fried Mac & Cheese bites and a brownie roll and they were delicious. Lastly, I got a banana Nutella shake with peanut butter and that was pretty good too, but the banana was lost somewhere in the mix. Would love come back once their full menu is back!

I order a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and what I received was uneditable. I had asked for extra cheese and they decided to put 5 additional slices of American cheese smacked top of the heavy amount of cheese they already added. I know it was 5 slices because it didn’t fully melt by the time it got to me. It does not take a genius to know that much excess cheese in a sandwich like this would not be edible. I just wasted money, threw the sandwich out. Worst service. And then on top of that the meat portioned was so small I barely noticed it. The sandwich was soggy. Complete disaster of a lunch. Ruined.

I was in the area and Cars was on my to-try list since I no longer have fat sandwiches nearby. Went with the 8″ Fat Tony as it’s usually my grease trucks go-to. Overall, it’s a good sandwich and what I was hoping for. A little heavier on the fries than the other ingredients and the sauce was a bit more herb-y than I prefer, but that’s a personal thing.
