We were looking for pizza by the slice. We had seen St. Augies Pizza while on a tour. We ordered a slice and drink for dinner. Very reasonable in price. The pizza crust was incredible tasting. The pizza was fresh tasting and the pepperoni was delicious. I highly recommend seeking them out for a quick meal.

If you’re looking for true New York–style pizza with that authentic, family-owned feel, this is the place. (I’m so happy to live just a few blocks away from this gem)
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you — it’s got that real NY vibe. No gimmicks. No over-the-top décor. Just that classic, welcoming, neighborhood pizzeria energy that instantly makes you feel at home. You can tell it’s the real deal.
Now let’s talk about the pizza. Absolutely amazing. The crust is everything you want in a true NY slice — perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and foldable on the inside, with that slight chew that makes it authentic. The sauce has incredible flavor without being overpowering, the cheese is perfectly balanced, and every bite tastes fresh and made with pride. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.
But what really sets this place apart is the staff. They are GREAT. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. You’re not just another order number here. They treat you like family. They’re patient, accommodating, and happy to help — whether you’re dining in with the kids, ordering for a group, or making special requests. That kind of service is rare these days.
This is the kind of family-owned pizzeria that becomes your go-to spot. The kind of place you bring friends to when they’re visiting. The kind of place your kids grow up loving.
If you want authentic New York pizza with a true family atmosphere, amazing food, and warm hospitality — this is it. Highly recommend supporting this local gem.

Now THATS a slice!!! Hands down the best pie in St John’s County. Everything tastes fresh. Crispy flavorful crust. Great gravy/sauce. And great vibe. It’s just about the pie. . Closest you will get to NYC in the county. We LOVE it!!!

St. Auggie’s Pizza was an okay experience, but not one that really stood out. The pizza itself had good flavor, but unfortunately it was overcooked, which took away from the overall enjoyment. The crust was harder than expected and made the slices less satisfying.
The service also left something to be desired. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming, and interactions felt rushed rather than attentive. While the place has potential, the combination of unfriendly service and overcooked pizza made the visit feel underwhelming.
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it also wasn’t memorable in a positive way. With a bit more care in food preparation and customer service, Auggie’s Pizza could be much better. Will not return.

Quiet little pizza spot with great prices and a family feel to it. Pizza was mouth watering and the fantastic pricing made it impossible to not grab another slice. Terra was welcoming and made us some fresh knots that left us feeling rejuvenated. Definitely will be coming back!

Great place… did not know about it until I saw a coupon in a “tourist pamphlet!” Nice people, also! Food was great. We will return every time we camp in St. Augustine (close to Anastasia State Park).

This place is ok inside for a quick bite, not very homey or much character, but it’s fine. Service was average. As far as the pizza, one of the things I look for is whether the crust is delicious. This crust is basically the same as most places in the US. Tastes stale, like cardboard or wood, with no flavor, and it’s rubbery and overly chewy when it’s not fresh, and you usually have a hard time eating it unless they give you dipping sauce. I only had a slice to go. So it’s not because the pizza wasn’t fresh, it’s the recipe they use for it. Unless they change it I definitely won’t be eating here again. Bronx is the only pizza I’ve had in town worth eating, so if St Augie’s could compete with that, I’d be happy to come back.

Great atmosphere, pizza tastes very much like it did when visiting NY! We enjoyed our 20th anniversary celebration ending here before desert. Garlic knots are amazing! Bursting with flavor but not drowned in garlic butter as I have run into at some places. Great service, all crews wearing smiles and asking about our day made the experience very personable! Mini canoli was fresh and tasted like a slice of heaven!
