Pleasantly surprised! Got a double & single & hodag burgers. Really crisp fresh lettuce tomato onion & pickle. Bacon was good, the burger itself was good & we liked the buns they used. Cheese was nice & melty. Wasn’t sure if they were open when passing by last few times so happy to see their menu on doordash. Would definitely order again!

The beef tastes cheap, slimy and processed, the fries are frozen and mediocre at best. This place went from having the best, butcher-grade, char-grilled burgers and hand-cut fries in the north woods to probably the worst. If you’re excited for this place to be re-opened, don’t be. It’s not the place you once knew.

Don’t miss out on this Northwoods Gem! The food is Fresh, Flavorful, Good, and Reasonably Priced. We have had the Italian Beef, Burgers, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Cheese Curds and the Fresh Cut Fries are Perfect! ( The comments about there burgers. Just tell them well done if you don’t want it pink) Very accommodating. Where picky about what we eat and they meet our expectations 10/10.
UPDATE: We continue to enjoy several of the great sandwiches. Pic today is a spicy chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, veggie burger, and Italian beef. One of our consistent favorites. Everything is always on point:)
UPDATE: We have tried to go here on several occasions and drive 30 min one way and your hours are never updated on Google. Did the Italian beef come back? Don’t want to waist another trip for nothing.

I have no idea how this happened, now to start, i did order from here on doordash, but the burger i received looked like a mcdouble from mcdonalds and tasted like it too. The bun was tough, congealed cheese with a splotch of ketchup, the fries were soggy and cold, and the soda came in a taco johns cup, the place that used to be there. I’ve seen a lot of pictures of food from this place, and nothing i got looked remotely similar to anything anyone else has apparently got. Disappointing!

If you are looking for a budget burger that tastes like a budget burger, then this is the place. Patties are frozen. Meat was tough with no juicy tenderness or seasoning. Top bun was hard and not fresh. Fries was the best part of the meal but are not the fresh cut fries that are shown in a lot of reviews. standard frozen fries. would recommend Hodag Bites going the smash burger route to add some more flair to their burgers. plenty of other options in rhinelander to get a handcrafted burger. this place was just “meh”.

Ordered delivery online, and let me tell you never again will we go or order from here. The buns were pretty much stale. The burger wasn’t even made right. The food just didn’t taste fresh at all. When we called there was NO MANAGER in the store for us to talk to. Ended up throwing the entire order away.

Excellent burger! I got a single bacon cheeseburger with the works and it was large enough to be a meal by itself. It’s comparable to chips burgers, and it was really good. I’ll be back in the future.
