I’m glad we did.
The food:
I went for the Double SmokeStack with fries and a tiramisu shake.
My wife had a VegeStack with cheese fries and a coffee shake.
The food was really nice and you can tell was made fresh, with the burger being juicey and fries being hot and freshly made. The milkshakes were equally good, especially the tiramisu, highly recommend it.
The service;
The server was nice enough and food arrived promptly, no complaints.
Atmosphere;
It wasn’t bad, pretty quiet and enough where you can talk with the person/s you’re with.
OVERALL:
It was around $52 for everything mentioned above which you could say the price is around the same you’d probably pay for Five Guys. The food was very good, however I do feel that the Florida Shake Shack was better which the burger was juicy enough that I didn’t need sauce. Whereas this one, I felt like I needed to dip the burger in sauce to get the full flavour and soak up the patties.
Props for Shake Shack suppling free water and on demand too.
Last, big kudos to the team here—the service is consistently warm and welcoming. A great addition to Santa Monica!
First off, shout out to the kindest manager ever—hooked us up with a free meal and made our day! Super rare to find that kind of genuine hospitality these days. The entire staff was friendly, and the place was spotless—big points for a clean facility!
Now let’s talk FOOD… BOMB. We got three burgers, cheese fries (of course), and a banana shake that was next-level—think real banana chunks, not that fake syrup stuff. The burger? Juicy, flavorful, and felt like a cleaner, tastier version of In-N-Out (yeah, we said it). No heavy grease, just perfectly balanced flavor.
And guess what? They offer a military discount. As a veteran, that means a lot—thank you, Shake Shack!
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Santa Monica. It’s good vibes, great food, and even better people.
And yes, I’m not suppose to be eating meat, but a burger every now in then is A MUST. Yum.
However, one of the veggie burgers was sold out, leaving only the ’Shroom Burger available. I’m usually a bit hesitant with mushroom-based patties, but I was hungry and willing to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the ’Shroom Burger has cheese inside the crispy mushroom patty—something that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. I have a dairy allergy, so I couldn’t eat it.
To their credit, the staff were very kind and offered a refund, which we appreciated (though we declined). We also overheard that this issue has come up before, so it might be helpful if the menu clarified the ingredients more clearly.
Would recommend.
