We came here for the fried raviolis and were surprised by how great our entire dining experience was!
We entered through the main restaurant not exactly knowing the lounge was separate, but the hostess was kind and walked us to where we wanted to go. In the restaurant you can order from the dinner menu whereas in the lounge you get the lounge and dinner menu! It’s definitely more laid back and not as fancy as the restaurant portion which is what we were looking for!
The bartender made a GREAT old fashion and was very generous and helpful with the wine selection. She gave me a few recommendations and samples before I committed which was really nice as I’m still learning what I like! The raviolis were a 12/10… I definitely could have gone for a second order. There were lots of options for small plates and dinner portions that sounded really delicious. The staff is amazing! I would highly recommend this place for an outing whether you’re looking for something fancy or low key!

I can’t say enough good about Gilda’s. The food is top notch (The Gorgonzola Rigatoni was radtastic!). The staff are prompt and polite. Chef Marco has his kitchen dialed in – consistent and wonderful Italian cuisine every time.

Nico, by his character alone made this review possible.

As I’ve been protesting, I didn’t want to ‘work’ much while on ‘vacation’ picking up the Tesla.

I’m almost home… stopped off downtown Portland to celebrate. By chance, Gilda’s Lounge 1601 SW Morrison St, 97205 is where I landed.

Nico asked that I not take his picture so my very ‘simple’ garlic bread, marinara sauce and Zolglhaus will have to do.

He suggested that I return for a special salmon meal… never meeting a salmon I didn’t like, the odds are high that I’ll be back.

Great in all ways.

We stopped here after an event at Providence Park. My wife and I wanted a casual, light dinner, so we shared a couple food plates and had cocktails and wine. The lounge exceeded our expectations, we had a wonderful polenta with wild boar ragout dish that was sooooo tasty, layers of flavor. The meatballs and Caesar salad were also spot on and together made a nice small shareable meal. Service was wonderful, like family. Thank you Gilda’s Lounge!!!

We found this place just by walking by. We wanted to have a couple drinks somewhere before going to the Crystal Ballroom. We sat on the leather couches since there were 10 of us. It felt cozy and the atmosphere was nice. The drinks were great. Specifically liked the Blueberry Lemon drop. We ordered some appetizers and everything we got was so delicious – Garlic bread with tomato sauce, Burrata, Frito Misto and grandmas meatballs – Polpette. I highly recommend this place. The owner Marco was so very kind to give us an order of the meatballs on the house. Staff are very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and will come back again to try the entrees.

Fantastic place that I’ve enjoyed for years. My only criticism is there used to be an awesome happy hour but now it’s just $1 off certain things. Need to bring back a more Portland style happy hour and fill this bar up!

First off me and my fiancé who is 6 months pregnant went here for a night out. The pictures of the place are very misleading to what the restaurant is actually like. The cooks were very generous but the restaurant it self smelt like a retirement home it was very small and compact the menu makes little to no sense at all. The food was absolutely disgusting we got the spaghetti with mamas meatballs the noodles were way overcooked, and the plate I ordered i couldn’t even tell you what was on my plate. But with the first bite I wanted to vomit the person who served us seemed nice but was not so nice when I asked for non alcoholic drinks being as we are both under 21 years of age. Definitely would never go back to this place would have had better food and honestly a better setting going to a Olive Garden rather than this. I don’t ever leave reviews on places but this place left me with no choice it was so bad.

We ate 4 items off the lounge menu and all were fantastic. Pizza, calamari, pasta & fried ravioli. The burger that kept passing us to go to other tables looked amazing! Staff friendly and attentive even during peak rush pre-Timbers match.

Definitely a great little neighborhood spot. There’s a small bar rail with a couple shelves of medium to higher end liquors as well as several beers on top. The menu was pretty limited despite being attached to a proper restaurant but the food options were much better than standard bar fare. Lots of pasta, lots of wine options. I ordered the tortellini and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and had an obvious rapport with some of the customers who were very plainly regulars and very quickly built a rapport with me as well. I would define the lounge as a bar, but I didn’t feel like I was sitting in a “typical” bar. There was music playing but it wasn’t overly loud and there were also 2 television sets tuned to the NFL playoffs game that was on. As it’s only a couple blocks from my home I’m sad it took me so long to discover this gem tucked away so close. I’ll definitely be returning
