I want to thank the entire McAlister staff for the AMAZING customer service they provided to me all the way in Texas. My friend retired and I could not make it, but this great staff made it possible for me to be a part of her great celebration by assisting me with a delicious sandwich tray, which they delivered promptly and on time as scheduled. Dasia the manager, I just cannot thank you enough for your patience and understanding during the times I contacted you regarding the order & the delivery. Though I could not be present, you assured me that my order would be just right for my friend’s retirement luncheon. Each time I called, those who answered the phone provided me with the best service from across many miles. I failed to keep track of your names, but Thank You so very much.
My friend and all who participated in the luncheon really enjoyed the sandwich tray and that made my day. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING.

Just not satisfying to my taste buds!!!!!
Can chill on the nachos. Please put some love in the food please. The pickle with the sandwich was horrible!!!!!! Sandwich was supposed to be hot. It was ice cold. Cheese was hard and no flavor. Bake potatoes seemed like it was left over from the day before. I should have made a sandwich at home and saved the money.

My g/f and I decided to stop here on a whim and I am glad we did. I haven’t been to McAlister’s Deli much since I left Gainesville, FL and is was exactly the same.
The menu was simple and easily figured out. I like the fact that you can order half of things to try them out.
I got half a max spud, half a chili and a whole club sandwich. It was a lot of food and was all delicious. The spud was a little dry, but still good.
My g/f got half of a chef salad, half of a grilled cheese and a whole bowl of chicken tortilla soup. She stated that all of hers was delicious.
We did not wait to order and waited less than 5 mins before our food was delivered to our table. Everything was correct and warm.

First time visiting a McAlister’s Deli, it will NOT be the last! My brother and I wanted something that we could bring home after being at the hospital all day. We both ordered the King Club, it was amazing! A lot of meat and fresh wonderful tasting veggies. The diner was very clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I tried to come here the other day and they were so busy I couldn’t get in…now I know why. This place is Great! Very Homey, clean and every person I met was so friendly. I honestly felt like they were family. LA. told me about the chicken tortilla soup and I also had a BLT, A. My food was so good. I just cannot give this place enough praise! I love it! I came back with my husband and he loves as much as I do!

At first when my order came by Uber Eats, it was wrong. Then I called Mcalister’s in Jackson, TN and Ms. Melody was so nice and fixed the issue. This was the first time anything was amiss with an order from there. I order from here very often.

I’ve visited other McAlister’s delis, and always enjoyed them, so when I visited a friend in Jackson, I thought I should try them again. When we got in around 11:30am, there was a line of about 5 people ahead of us, and it took quite a while to get up to order, as only one person was taking orders. They were also slowing it down by having to fill the drink orders at the same time. This could be easily fixed if they had the soda and teas where customers could help themselves. It also seemed like they tried to fill every glass with as much ice as possible, so you wouldn’t get much of an actual drink, just mostly ice. After our order was in, it took about 20 minutes to get our food, which was just way too long for a fast casual restaurant. There is actually no way you can say fast casual, but more like slow casual. Anyway, the food was ok, and had good flavor. I had their signature club, while my friend had the King Club, which had double the meat. The bread on my club seemed like it was smashed and super thin, which you may be able to tell from the attached pic. My friend’s King club did not have the same issue. It was much more a meal for sure. I had potato salad as my side which was good, though maybe just a bit too much mayo. So food not bad overall, but just way too much of a wait. Perhaps ordering through the app about 30 minutes before you get there would work to not have to wait? Oh, the line only got longer as time went on, and there were at least 8 people waiting after they had ordered, for to go orders. Maybe coke at a non busy time and you’ll have a better experience. I’m in town all week and will not be back. Too many places will give me faster service and at least as good, if not better, food.

I’ve been waiting for an hour and watched patrons that came after me get their food and leave. Their attention to detail is terrible and the front of house staff are distracted and make me not want to come back ever again. I’m sitting here watching the two people I’ve ordered with finishing their food, still unserved. The sweet tea container was empty, the only reason I have my drink is because I got it when I paid and had to fill it myself. TLDR; ordered at 7:30 didn’t receive my food at all, received a refund at 8:30 and left.

Don’t bother showing up expecting to get your pickup order on time (30 mins after your order time). You will wait 20 more minutes passed that. Not because they’re busy… but lack of care. All the workers including managers just standing around while kitchen just chit chats with said managers. They got my name 5 mins past my pickup time and 10 mins after that (I’m sure noticing my face of confusion.. bc they were not busy at all and I had to go) managers mentions to the kitchen “hey I need tortilla soup and turkey club, etc (my order)” they then produced my order about 5 minutes later. Pretty sure this is the next place to close down in Jackson .. behind chilis and Red Robin due to horrible, incompetence, careless workers and staff. Do better.

We waited nearly half an hour for our order. The skin on our cheddar potatoes was tougher than shoe leather; there was almost no cheese or butter to start with. The “extra” provided simply wasn’t enough; they were dry as a bone. My club sandwich was a disaster. The bread was thin & soggy; the crust was hard as a brick. Most of my lettuce was brown & slimy. In contrast, the potato salad was fantastic and the person taking our order was amazing!
