Tried the Honduran Coney Island on Washtenaw Avenue for the first time and wow… the food was absolutely amazing! I had never had tacos with potatoes, cabbage, and eggs before, but let me tell you — it works and it’s delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. If you’re looking to try something a little different and support a great local spot, you have to go check out this little gem. I’ll definitely be back!

I enjoyed a fantastic, authentic meal today! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Antonio’s Coney Island in Ypsilanti, where Irene and her team will treat you to a warm, family-like atmosphere and authentic Central American food.

The bomb. So good. I lived in Venezuela for a couple of years and although they specialize in Honduran specialties the food reminded me of coastal Venezuela and was incredibly delicious. Large portions. Very reasonable prices. Friendly service. Family atmosphere. Fish tacos were amazing. Churrasquitos, plantains, flan and filled churros were all amazing. Best flan I’ve had in a long time. Please go and enjoy something different. So many great options on the menu and daily specials. We will go back.

Antonio’s Coney Island is a must-try for anyone looking for fresh South American-inspired cuisine. The food is incredibly flavorful, and every dish is prepared with care. The service is quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot if you’re in a hurry but still want a quality meal. Parking is ample, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot. Plus, the location has plenty of other food options nearby, making it a great area to explore if you’re feeling adventurous. Whether you’re craving something traditional or looking to try something new, Antonio’s should be on your list!

A true hidden gem in Ypsi / A2. Latin American fare from Honduras primarily. Costa Rica and other locales also featured. We love the Gallo Pinto (Costa Rica), Baleadas, Enchiladas Hondureñas, and more. They have recently expanded too in order to offer more dining space, as the only drawback was the limited seating. Don’t let the “Coney Island” in the name fool you – this isn’t your ordinary spot for hotdogs. A true treat every time we go in.

This isn’t just a coney island, but also a Honduran restaurant. The Honduran menu features many delicious dishes. I particularly like the enchiladas, papusas, and stuffed plantain.

The #8 was absolutely superb! I cannot express how delicious this meal was. I did the happy food-dance the entire time. Portion was generous, saved half for lunch tomorrow. So glad we came here!

The food is amazing, but the prices are not correct on the menu. Cornbeef hash 14.00 instead of 11.00. both of us had different meals, not correct in prices. We went for breakfast, we basically paid 50.00. so just be prepared. We will go back, but not often now. Sadly. We have to know the correct prices. Be warned on money when u go.
