Being served RAW CHICKEN is unacceptable and dangerous. When it was brought to the staff’s attention, they showed no concern or accountability whatsoever. The food was disgusting and the service was just as bad.
From the very first encounter, the older lady working there was extremely rude and clearly should not be in a customer-facing position.
I will never be coming back and will be contacting the health department!.
Based on this visit I will not return to this Bojangles. I have been to many other Bojangles that were clean and had awesome food and service.
I suffer from chronic nerve pain, being upright and mobile is a challenge at times. I placed an order through the app this morning for curbside pickup. After I sent the notification that I was at the location to pick up the food, I sat in my car waiting for 15 minutes at which point I suffered through going in to get it. I let the cashier know that I had been waiting that long for an online order, he asked what I’d ordered and started rushing to get it for me. While he was doing this, someone from the back (presumably a manager) shouted to ask him what he was doing and he explained to which the other person responded that the order wasn’t curbside, it’s delivery, and you gotta come inside to get it, adding a snide “how stupid you gotta be to wait in your car so long like that”. This was said from the back, loud enough that I could hear it clearly while leaning on the railing for support, visibly in pain.
The fact that any employee feels it’s even remotely ok to openly disrespect a customer loudly enough that they can be clearly heard throughout the restaurant is disturbing to say the least.
I will say props to the young cashier. He did what he could to try to get my food as quickly as he could, and apologized for me having to wait so long. Others at this location could learn a LOT from him.
I also stopped by this location last week after a very long day with work. I ordered a two piece; the only sides they had were fries and cole slaw. Tried their slaw for the first time. Was ok til I had a few fork fulls and noticed a sticker sticking out from the container saying it was good through 6:38 pm. It was after 9 pm as I was eating, so I know it was a few minutes before 9 when I bought it. The young lady at the window did tell me that she gave me a few extra pieces of chicken and a few sweet potato pies since they’d be closing soon. The sweet potato pies aren’t the same as they used to be when the outer crust seemed to have cinnamon and was a little darker.
