This last visit was horrible. Took 10 mins from the speaker to the window and there was only my car and the car ahead of mine. Some young girl at the window never apologized for the wait and seemed untrained. Saw another on her phone wondering if that’s why the wait was so long. Anyway, once I got my food,(4 tacos) I drove 3-4 mins home to cold and messy tacos..
Smh. Normally the morning crew does well but this night, it was BAD!

This is by far the best Jack in the box I’ve been to in all of San Diego, fast service and always fresh and reliable. We have 3 locations closer to us but we still make the drive to this location because it’s worth it! Keep up the awesome service and great food!

We come her often, but after today im not so sure we will be back. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowel and it was spoiled. The broccoli was brown and the chicken had green specs inside and out.

I could have given 5 stars, but when I order online for pickup at a certain time for lunch during work, it isn’t always ready. Even when I show up 5+ mins after pickup time. Food is always delicious and I never see the dining area crowded. Always clean including the restroom.

Only thing is this place isn’t setup to scan the Jack app to gain points for purchase. Had to make my purchase on the app which is kind of annoying, but then realized they have better deals and they are only offered on the app! They have a Jumbo Jack meal for 2 thats cheaper than a single combining the restaurant. Staff was nice and food was good but I hated having to jump through hoops to get the same food at a better price.

This restaurant made my food well and offered great service. I have no issue with this restaurant at all, however, Jack in the box as a whole has been a bit disappointing to me. Nothing ever looks like what it does on the menu. The people and quality are great though.

Date: November 26, 2023Dear Jack in the Box Management,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and recurring errors at the Jack in the Box location at 8500 Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071.Incident Date: November 26, 2023On the mentioned date, I placed an order totaling $19.03, which included 2 tacos, a Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, 8 nuggets, and 5 churros. Upon arriving home, I realized that instead of the Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, I received a $3 breakfast burger. This was not what I ordered or paid for.Immediate Response and Issue:I promptly called the store to address this error. The manager, identified as Mayra or Maira, answered the call. I explained the situation and expressed my concern that such errors have been a recurring issue. Initially, she offered to replace the burger but asked for my name and phone number. When I insisted on a refund due to the frequency of such mistakes, her response was unprofessional and dismissive. She refused to take down my information unless it was for a replacement burger and stated that I would need to return immediately if I wanted a refund, as she was leaving soon.This response was not only unhelpful but also rude. Her refusal to accommodate a reasonable request and the abrupt termination of our call were both unacceptable and unprofessional.Expectations and Resolution:As a regular customer, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and the lack of accountability in rectifying mistakes. It is disheartening that such issues are not taken seriously, affecting the overall customer experience.I would like to request that this matter be looked into, and appropriate actions are taken to improve service quality and order accuracy at this location. I also expect a formal apology for the inconvenience caused and a refund for the incorrect item.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I was a loyal JITB customer. At my recent visit I asked for a large cup of just ice with my order and the staff said it would cost over $3.00! The staff said their manager is on vacation and they didn’t have the authority to make a one time exception. The staff said they’d call the police if I didn’t leave. I’ve noted the company’s failure in the news. This location’s poor handling at service and the high volume of competition in that area ensures its failure, and my inability to recommend it.
