My wife and I were scouting out places to eat near the state parks in the area. Family from over seas are coming in and we want to take them on a day trip to show off beautiful parts of Missouri. This place is perfect.
The food was fresh and delicious and made to order. We got avocado toast and burger sliders. Prices are fair for the quality of food. We also got their apple fritter cake, a latte and an iced coffee. They have a nice coffee bean source.
The staff (I assume the owners) were friendly and you can see the passion. We will back next time we are back out that way.

Excellent coffee and the perfect place to play a game/read/work. If you’ve traveled around Missouri, Sump coffee, Kingdom Coffee, Blue Print, etc are some of the excellent artisan coffee shops. I’d place this shop in running for delicious lattes and good pour overs.

This place is a gem! The food and drinks were incredible. Seriously some of the best breakfast food around and all fresh. The boutique store was cute and the vibes were really cool. Such a cool concept. The owners are very friendly and down to earth. Had such a great stay in their lodging upstairs. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

We truly appreciated the quality coffee, food, and atmosphere. Lots of care is taken in crafting a chill vibe that feels like you’re in a little outdoorsy mountain town. Cool mountain biking, trail running, and floating in the area helps you work up an appetite for quality food. The owners are friendly and it is easy to see where the relaxed feeling of the place comes from.

This is a great place to get breakfast or lunch. We had incredibly good lattes here, as well as an awesome soufflé and french toasts. They also have a cute fashion shop and a pickle ball court. The coffeeshop has a great inside space and also a nice patio. We stayed in the airbnb of the same owners to visit Johnson’s Shut-Ins for a couple of days. The apartment was beautifully designed. Overall – this was an excellent stay and we hope we can come back soon!
