I picked up my to-go order and it wasn’t quite ready when I arrived. I was given delicious treats and snacks while I waited – they’re so nice! I waited maybe 2 minutes, and my order was huge! None of our food had any flavor. Everything was blah. I had crab Rangoons which were pure cream cheese. I had salt and pepper fish and it had no flavor at all but strong fish. My husband had lo mein and again no taste at all.

My updated review this week:
Our family has been coming here for a year plus now, from a couple times a month to 2 or 3 times per week sometimes, and we can say without a doubt China House’s food is consistent! Everything tastes exactly the same each time we visit. (Maybe this is why takeout is pumping out nonstop all day and night here!)
But… the service has changed recently. It’s not as good as it used to be, even when they’re not full in the restaurant. If the service doesn’t improve we may find another hot spot. We definitely go less often now.
My review, 1 year ago:
The food consistently comes out fast and screaming hot. The proteins are tender and flavor profiles are distinct.
The hot & sour soup is , extra spicy style.
The Bobo appetizer plate is scrumptious, including a side of spicy chili sauce along with homemade duck sauce and mustard sauce, which is quite intense, all satisfyingly delicious.
Friendly service!

China House is hands down the best Chinese food around! My family and I have been coming here for over four years, and it’s a favorite for all of us. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor (saying this because of that last bad review saying zero flavor). The service is always on time, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It’s our go-to spot whenever we’re craving Chinese food, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This was our second try. We loved the crab rangoons which I see a previous review stated was nothing but cream cheese. I beg to differ. Ours were hot crunchy fresh filled with onion and crab. Our favorite rangoons of all time. Filled fat too haha. Then got the green pepper beef and sweet and sour chicken. Our first time we did sweet and sour chicken I was disappointed because they were old cold and hard. This second time they were so fresh we had to wait for them to cool. The beef was fresh as well very tender. Very tasty.

A1 customer service. A clean and inviting space to dine but we ordered takeout. It only took about 20-25 minutes to get our food and the staff were friendly while we waited for our order. The place was busy too.
The orange chicken was good but not overly spectacular.
The sweet and sour chicken was very delicious. The only suggestion I have is to serve the sauce on the side so the chicken doesn’t get soggy, especially if it’s takeout and not a dine in order.
The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were good and we liked the Chicken egg foo young a lot.
Parking was a little of a hassle. I didn’t see a parking lot but there is street parking. We had to walk about a block but it was a nice day outside so we didn’t mind. (Now if it was raining or snowing then that would be a problem.)
They had plenty of seating for dining in and they also had a lot of menu options. They also gave us plenty of sauces and fortune cookies.
Overall it was worth the drive to visit. My son recommended we try it. I’d definitely order food here again because it’s cooked fresh, the staff is friendly and the prices are good.

I really love coming here. I visit this place about once a week. They have some really great plant based options which is great because they can be really hard to find. I love how cozy the vibes are and the prices are really low for large portions. The staff is super friendly and the food is to die for. My personal favorite is the Kung pao tofu. This is hands down my favorite restaurant.

Really fresh string beans, the chicken was nice and tender. My son got the shrimp almondine he thoroughly enjoyed his meal too.
The vegetable egg rolls were really nice. I love the fact that they were so flakey on the outside and the inside was such fresh vegetables.
We also got the hot and sour seafood soup that was delicious it came with a side of fresh green onions.
You get hot tea which they were very good about refilling.
Quick service, all the customer service was very attentive to each table..
