Wow! The Maryland style peel-n-shrimp were AMAZING! They came out pipping hot, drenched in butter, old bay, and garlic. Reasonably priced and the portion was great. What’s not to like? We also ordered wings. They were so crispy, just how we like them. Kristin our server took great care of us! If you haven’t been to Chubbies, you are missing out!

Fabulous menu! Friendly service. I had a cup of shrimp chowder and Ruben sandwich. My wife had a seafood wrap and black beans & rice. We really enjoyed the experience! The prices were realistic. Our bill was $26.11+ $5 tip. The restrooms and facility was clean. When we got here we were the first. But when left cars were linning up.

A laid back, local restaurant with plenty of beers on tap, lots of TVs, and great food. Our server has been great every time we’ve visited. The fried seafood platter was really good. French Dip and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches were both excellent. Check the daily specials. They have some really good options you wont find on most menus.

Well in the past we enjoyed their Burgers but today we tried the Maryland Shrimp, was tasty, $15.95, nice amount for the size order, but when we got our bill it was $16.95??, we asked the wonderful Melissa why the extra $1. she informed us they charged me for 2oz of cocktail sauce..What!@$@!%, When you sell shrimp, cocktail sauce is included, if this business is hurting so bad to make a buck, we/nor any of our friends and family will ever dine at any of their locations again. That’s just crazy, it’s like a BBQ joint charging extra for BBQ sauce.

The good: The Alfredo was good, service was good (except the appetizer came out after the food), waitress was nice though, they gave a refund with no problem, the atmosphere was nice. The bad: the menu says “fresh fried clams strips” or “fresh fried grouper fingers”, but we were told that they are frozen. The food was very dry; fried clams, fried grouper fingers, hush puppies. The green beans were watery and had one piece of sausage in the middle. Our appetizer came out after the food (potato skins.. they were ok). It seems like many people do like Chubbies so I may talk my friend into trying it once more or visiting the psl location instead. I hope we ordered the “wrong food” and maybe other meals on the menu are much better.. although no plate at a restaurant should suck so bad. It was disappointing. I rarely run into a place with this many negatives

Had an awesome dinner last night with my husband Fred (6th Anniversary). First time visit and Rachel our server was awesome. Great personality with great service. Ordered the Cowboy steak of 32 oz. (figured I would Cowboy up). Well it was perfect but I got bucked off because I could only eat 1/8 of it. They just need bigger plates for that steak. If ya don’t visit, it’s your lose.

Love the shrimp tacos. Not for people looking for authentic, but big juicy pieces of shrimp in a nice taco. The mozz sticks are hand cut and breaded and delicious. And friends love the fried fish.
