I think it crazy that an “owner” thinks it’s exceptable and “stands by” illegally charging a customer a hidden fee and then acts like the customer was the one being rude and loud for asking a simple question.
It’s really sad when customers have to deal with such a rude and disrespectful manager like the one here!
I would like to mention that our server was fantastic like always and the food was delicious but after the experience with the manager this morning, unfortunately, we will not be coming back!
I brought one of my friends here yesterday morning for breakfast. We like to go here at least a few times a month. Well, this morning we decided to split an omelet and I asked for an extra plate. We’ve done this before and never got charged for an extra plate but apparently today the manager told our server to charge us. I asked to speak to the manage and when I asked her why we were being charged for an extra plate, she was very rude and disrespectful. I told her I wasn’t trying to be rude but trying to understand why we were being charged this fee especially when there is nothing posted on the menu or anywhere about it. Her response was, well I have to pay my server for serving you and pay for the water that washes the dishes you used. I told her that just sounds ridiculous because she has to pay the server and water bill no matter what. She proceeded to tell me, “I’ll take the charge off and next time you come in, I won’t serve you your water and you can eat with your fingers!” I informed her that we will NOT be coming back since she thinks it’s okay to talk to customers the way she just did. She proceeded to say, It’s just a dollar and I told her, it’s the point.
After we left, my friend told me they couldn’t believe she treated us that way.
It saddens me that my friend had to endure that kind of treatment and from a manger no less

Brought my grandparents for their birthday and we absolutely loved the whole experience! They were serving breakfast, lunch and supper items all at the same time – and there was quite a variety of each! Our waitress was very kind and attentative. The only things that we wished were a bit different, were the hours (they’re only open until 2pm), aaand they didn’t have any desserts, which we were really looking forward to having for their birthday. Lol!

First time eating breakfast at MJ. Really enjoyed the overall experience. They were quite busy when we were there, but food came out promptly. Food was hot, delicious, nice portions, and fairly priced. If you’re hungry, I highly recommend the MJ Benedict (stuffed hashbrowns). My son had the french toast, and both were excellent. Staff was friendly, and the ambiance was welcoming. Will definitely go back.

The food was great, service was a bit awkward, (A for effort) but waitress was friendly, considering she was the only waitress…. Hopefully there could be 2. The place gets busy. All in all, great first impression!! Prices are extremely reasonable

Would of giving full stars. The pro’s
1. The staff is absolutely amazing and nice.
2. Very happy how the mj looked. Live the atmosphere.
3. They do take credit cards manually. But, in person. Had a pic of our credit card and they typed it in manually.
The con’s
1. Ordered a (RARE) steak. Wasn’t rare. It was pretty dry.
2. Toast and pancakes were pretty tough to chew and kinda rubbery.
3. The sausage burnt on the outer edges. Was tough to chew as well.
The food was still pretty flavorful. But, it’s still fairly new. Within time I believe that this restaurant will be as great as ever. Thank you to all the nice staff.
