We love this Mexican restaurant! it’s become one of our go-to spots. The prices are really good, and the food is always amazing. We’ve dined in and also used the drive-thru, and both experiences have always been great. The food comes out fresh, flavorful, and consistent every single visit. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re looking for good food, good prices, and reliable service.

Went early the morning of 4th of July because our fav spot was closed. Got into the drive thru and immediately the woman at the window was RUDE and not helpful when explaining their confusing menu. We ordered one plate of “quesobirria tacos” and A (singular) Gordita plate. We wait for 30 MINUTES in the drive thru before we got our food. The quesobirria was cold, dry, and barely filled with any meat. The cheese was abundant but it also tasted very SPOILED it smelt like feet and tasted worse. The Gordita plate came with rice and beans but they FORGOT to give us our rice and beans. When we swung back around they were very rude and almost refused to give us the food we paid for. The Gordita was COLD, dry, and also very pungent tasting. The total cost was $25 but honestly this is value I would pay $10 to NEVER eat again. The service was rude, food disgusting, price unjustifiable and restaurant itself looks VERY rundown. We asked to speak to the manager and instead the window lady laughed at us and closed the window. If I could give zero stars, I would. Never going back, gave it a shot, lost $25 and gained a lesson. NEVER eat here unless you want bubble guts, bad service, terrible food, and an overall rip off. I will be calling our local food safety department because the cheese they sell is SPOILED it has to be with how bad it tasted.

I’ve been dropping by here for years.
The nachos were peppery but still good. I really like the chips. Look forward to coming back for the trepas tacos soon.
Update 9/17/23: I bought a couple of bean and cheese with bacon and a single cadne asada with a Coke $14?? And when I got home, they tasted soo salty! :/
2/22/25 it’s been better lately. Last weekend, the Fajita meat in the tortas was crazy salty, but this weekend soo good. Bought a tripa crispy to add to my bean and cheese with bacon and bought a torta as well.

This place is getting comfortable with their food. They used to be my go to spot but now they don’t really care about quality. Every taco we ordered came out cold. We asked them to heat them up and still came out cold and cheese wasn’t melted. The menudo also came out cold and seemed old. The honeycomb tripe was tough and not fresh. I complained to the manager/owner and didn’t seem to care.
Been like that the last three times. Unfortunately never going back!
Terrible food now!

Nice place that was converted from an old style Whataburger driveteria!! VERY nice & attentive server. Beautiful table art and clean dining area. FAST order to table time and hot entrées. Green sauce was mild heat and too watery for my preference. I found the Ranchero sauce, and again, too watery for my preference. GREAT FLAVOR and portion size. Guisada was so tender!!

Love their breakfast tacos. Salsa verde here is the BEST. I sometimes go just to get a cup of it. Never disappointed by the tortas or enchiladas either. Only thing I’m not a fan of is their horchata

1st time here I give them 3 stars…
Loved the taco de nopales, good & spicy. Flautas plate was good and their Mexican Burger was huge. Mini tacos were good and the plate of fajita con camarones was delicious. Service was fast and accurate. The waitress can work on her Customer Service and be a little more friendly and more welcoming. They do charge extra for to go plates so make sure you eat all your food.

A place lots of locals visit. Went in for a quick lunch. The portion is of course Texas size. Very tasty fajitas with beef and shrimp. Good place to be visited many times.

I use to love their tacos but they have really gone down hill. The last few times I’ve ordered tacos they are wrapped all smashed up, and the tortillas are not fresh. Today I ordered a chicharron and egg taco and the egg is way over cooked literally crispy. I will not return to this place and take my business to the Taqueria Vallarta on
Nacogdoches. They have way better and fresher food and their Green Salsa is the best. May have to drive a little farther but worth it.
