Stopped here leaving Tampa. Roughly ten miles off the interstate, but put us right back on when leaving, so quick stop! It was a great choice. The food tasted high quality and fresh! The ranch dressing was GREAT! All around would stop again if I was in the area. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes.

Pretty good seafood for Valdosta. I get the fried catfish and hush puppies and have never had an issue, the fish is flaky and hush puppies are delicious with the tartar sauce. My partner has tried the gumbo and shrimp but wasn’t impressed. They also have desserts that are great and unexpected for a place like this. One of the better seafood options for the town

When coming here I did not know what to expect as there was a lot of food options in the menu. I went with the platter option and the it was very delicious. The staff were so great and friendly especially Josseline, Hannah, and Brooklyn. Although they left one of my sides off my plate, they were quick to get it fixed in an orderly fashion. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family to eat here. Thank Yall So much.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The prices are fair and affordable for being seafood, and the hush puppies, fried shrimp, and green beans I had were all 10/10 perfectly cooked. I eat at a lot of restaurants traveling for work and this could’ve easily been a $25/meal anywhere else. I was out the door on lunch for less than $20 with a tip. Insane, and my new favorite place whenever I come to Valdosta. Friendly people, clean place with nice decor, quiet. And beer!

Decided to come by after seeing the fried green tomatoes appetizer. Good food and great service. Very calm and chill atmosphere. Will return to try other menu options soon. Large portion sizes. The best homemade carrot cake I’ve tasted in forever.

Deja has the best smile and customer service!!! She didn’t mind me asking questions because it was my first visit. I asked the difference between the Cajun shrimp and grits and the wharf shrimp and grits. She was happy to help even showing me the bowl sizes for petit and regular. I loved her personality!!! Positive reviews and an inviting web site prompted me to drive 15 minutes from my I-75 hotel, and I’m glad I did.
The food was very good and reasonably-priced. The friendly staff and prompt service set the tone for an enjoyable meal. I had gumbo and a Greek salad with shrimp, both very tasty. Don’t be put off by the storefront façade, the “family seafood restaurant” decor or the food-court style menu behind the counter. This experience reminded me: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

The food and portion size was very good. Neither myself nor my wife could eat all of our meal. I think we could have split a single meal and appetizer and had plenty to eat. I did knock one star off on the atmosphere rating because you order at the counter. Your food is brought to your table and you have table service, but at this price point I’d prefer to order from my table.

The experience was unique! The customer service was impeccable! The food was delicious! Portions were probably the proper size but I felt for the price they were a little small. The flavors of the blackened Destin platter were bold. Nothing bland about this food at all! However, I was not impressed with the texture of the crab cake but the flavor was fantastic. When I eat a crab cake I don’t expect it to mush apart like this one did. We ordered the garlic green beans as a side and omg they were amazing! The side salad was a bag salad mix that was fancied up with some halved grape tomatoes and sliced almonds. The balsamic vinaigrette I got with the salad was perfect. All in all it was worth the visit!

The management and team of this restaurant are awesome. It is always a pleasant experience every time we dine here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Many other restaurants in Valdosta should take lessons from The Wharf on how to provide great service. The food quality is very good, and a great value for the money.
