Worst Mexican food ever! Do not bother to stop.
The food was absent of any actual flavour.
The salad was brown not green.
The people were unfriendly and absent
DONT BOTHER. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STOMACHS AND TOILET VISITS
Other reviews are fake or people need to get their taste buds checked. Maybe smokers.
Ridiculously horrible HORRENDOUS food
Dirty place. Watch your bill. We were ignored. But really the food simply stunk so bad.
Just look at the floor and tables. Returned food because it was awful. Walked out and you should not go to this place. You deserve better. We all deserve better. With the price of going out to eat just skip this joint.
The parking lot is small and EMPTY wondered why…because the food stunk so badly.
You’re better off at a fast food joint. McDonald’s is five stars compared to this’s despicable restaurant.

This place has great food. We can here last year during the White Squirrel Festival and loved it. This time around it wasn’t as crowded and we explored the menu a bit more. We ate every bit of our food, and we really enjoyed the margaritas also. It tasted like they squeezed their own lemons/limes, and weren’t using the premade mix. Very pleased!

The food was ok. Standard Mexican food. But they tried to overcharge us by $30 and hoped we wouldn’t notice. They admitted they overcharged us and then we waited forever for them to cancel the credit card charge because they didn’t know how. Finally I had them just give us the cash back. Not a good experience. I wonder how often they overcharge people and it goes unnoticed. 🙁

Food is decent. It’s open on a Sunday and in Brevard there aren’t a lot of places open Sunday.
We chose this place because we wanted fajitas. The fajitas for two is quite large so be mindful of that. We ordered it with just beef and chicken. It was plenty of food for three.
The quality is very average but the price was also fair so it makes sense.
I’m glad it was open and I’d say come if you want a fair priced meal.
Service was fine and the place is authentic and cute.

We were coming back from the waterfalls headed back to Asheville. We stopped at this Mexican restaurant. There was no way we received it right away on the outside patio. They brought the chips and salsa cheap prices cheap food. But you won’t be disappointed because the flavors in the Mexican were good so if you’re headed to or from and you want a quick meal,

You’re better off eating at Taco Bell.
Stay away from this place. The guacamole was old and brown. Stale. Not fresh. The rice and overall food had zero taste.

A fitting name for this place. It looks like you are eating in a barn. The worst crunchy tacos ever! The meat is very squishy and taste terrible. Also the worst guacamole I have ever had as well. This place might be the best around but it doesn’t compare to Mexican restaurants where I live. Also, beware of the parking situation.

Recently, my wife and I ate at El Ranchero for the first time in several months. The menu was new since we last ate there. Both of our meals were much better than the last time we went there. The service was excellent, thanks to Rojelio. If you haven’t eaten at El Ranchero recently, I highly recommend giving the new menu a try.

Worst service i’ve ever had. Server came one time to give us food. They forgot items on our order. Never gave us refills, never checked on us, never fixed our order, or gave us the check. Had to get someone to get it for us. Gave us some random scribbles on a paper as our check. Had to have them remove random things added to it that we didn’t order. And I couldn’t even read most of it so i’m pretty sure we got scammed. No idea how this shady place is in business. They run on paper checks and custom typed in payments. It’s the most average run of the mill mexican restaurant you can find in any city. Don’t come here unless you feel like being ignored or scammed.
EDIT: There was about 2 tables in the entire 30 table restaurant so I have no idea what my server was doing. 3 other servers were just sitting at a table talking. So no, it wasn’t because they were busy
