We waited at the table for 15 minutes before anyone actually talked to us. We were offered no menus. She finally brought the drinks and we waited another 20 minutes for her to take our order. We ordered a waffle because my little girl insisted on eating here. It took 15 minutes to get the one waffle. They were not even busy. The lady acted like she didn’t care and didn’t want to do her job!!

First time at a Waffle House, and unfortunately, it left a lasting impression—for all the wrong reasons.
I came here late at night with some friends and was honestly shocked by the state of the kitchen. It was visibly unsanitary, and I even saw cockroaches. While the waiter was kind and doing their best, the overall cleanliness (or lack thereof) made it impossible for me to eat. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience that I wouldn’t want to repeat.

The worst Waffle House I’ve ever had. I traveled through five states for work, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee. All I ordered was a waffle, hashbrowns, and a chicken breast. My chicken breast wasn’t done my pecan waffle was mostly pecans and my hashbrowns were dry. My coffee taste like dirt. What the young lady taking my order did a very good job.

I have been to this location maybe 4 to 5 times. Its been good every time. But breakfast was my favorite! The service was good! Only issue I had both times for breakfast is once I got my food, they kinda forgot about refilling our drinks. I struggled to get their attention. But other than that minor issue, the food was very good! Perfect breakfast!

Easily the better of the two locations in Sumter. Staff are affable, polite, and speedy. The food is reliably good, but every once in a while the cook lets you down. This location could use some updating, it’s obviously taken a beating over the years. Sometimes it doesn’t feel that clean, even for a busy diner. Overall we enjoy going as a family to enjoy our favorite food and engaging with the staff.

Absolutely horrible, 1 I waited for over 2hours on two grits bowls and one hassbrown bowl. 2 they ignored me twice while waiting at the window and they only focused on the online orders that were placed after me, I wanted a refund but it was this or nothing, I will never eat here a again rude service not worth the price I paid.

i would rate the food if we ever got it. came in last night at around 8:45 with 3 other people, nice young lady said it’d be a minute as they were going through shift change, okay cool understandable. we proceed to wait for 40 minutes to simply not even acknowledged by any of the other staff, however everyone else, including the man in the booth right next to us, got served. we weren’t even approached once, despite several employees walking right by us.
