Just made an online order to pick up, it was 2 baja blasts, a 4p nugget, 2 soft tacos, and a quesarito. Asked for light ice in the drinks and got no ice, they were both warm. The nuggets were tiny, hard and had black spots all over them, the tacos were both slimy and disgusting and the quesarito was basically just sauce.. Do better guys, literally nothing from this 25$ dollar order is even edible and on top of that yall wont even answer your phones. I am dissapointed and disgusted.

as someone coming here for a while now I think these other reviews are from the type
of people who think everything centers around them. I’ve always been nice and respectful in the drive-thru and I have always received the upmost best customer service I deserve! I have even received free taco coupons for things I would have never thought I deserved! Thank you for being open late as I don’t get off work until late and I’m always hungry after.

On February 1, 2026 I ordered in the drive thru of the Taco Bell in Des Moines IA located at 5959 SE 14th St., the clerk proceeded to charge my card for the order, then told me to drive to the other side of the building to wait for my order. Since I was on a tight schedule, and wanted “fast food via a drive thru”, I simply responded with “no thank you” and simply asked for a refund, and the cashier promptly closed the window and turned her back on me. Almost ten minutes later (no exaggeration), another employee opened the window to give me someone else’s order. When I told her what I was waiting for, she summoned the “manager with an attitude” who, instead of asking what happened or apologizing for the behavior /response of her employee, began to lecture me, stating that the original cashier was “just a child”? I then attempted to explain the situation again, and was interrupted again to be told that of I didn’t stop talking, she would call the police…are you kidding me right now?! I guess there is one positive that comes from this hideous experience, I now know that Taco Bell is hiring children and ex-cons to run their restaurants.

To Taco Bell (corporate), if your business model is to hire folks that intimidate, bully and threaten your customers (and corporate doesn’t care whether there will be fallout from this very poor choice) ..You’ve Nailed It!! Never Patronizing Taco Bell again is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!

Fast food are never fast these days. I went in there to pick up another person’s order and those incompetent people are slow like sloths. There were 7 dashers that were standing there some of whom waited 20 to 30 minutes for a order that never arrived. It says order ready for pickup but it’s not ready. I waited 30 minutes and left. I worked at McDonald’s for 7 years before I left and I always tell people the wait times or their order and the order they are picking up for, seems like this taco bell doesn’t do that. If I could I would give zero stars to these people.

The staff were friendly enough and took my order promptly. The wait was reasonable as they were at shift change and were moderately busy. The order was accurate but it tasted awful. I had a Mexican Pizza and it was barely edible. I didn’t finish it. The burrito was undersized and cold. I won’t be going back.

We walked in and the first thing they said was “We have no beef, but will in 10 min” okay cool. So we order… 25 minutes later nothing had come out. Everyone after us had already gotten their food. When we asked where is our order they told us it got deleted. But they had it a few min ago when they yelled my name for my cups?
