Anita’s did not disappoint!
Chicken quesadilla = cheesy perfection.
Ham burrito meal = straight-up comfort in a tortilla.
Big portions & big flavor…

We visited tonight with my parents and husband, and the verdict on the Tacos and Taquitos combo was unanimous: good, not great. My chicken fajitas were equally uninspired, not terrible but just….standard. The service was really weird too. Three different servers attended to us, apparently without ever communicating with each other. For example, one would come out and take our drink order, then another would come out to take our drink order… again. The first server didn’t mention there was an option for iced vs on the rocks, and when we mentioned we’d like frozen to the second server who asked our preference, another server came out with on the rocks. No big deal, just strange.
And oh, the margaritas. At $11 for a tiny glass, I was hoping for a drink that packed a punch, or at least a gentle nudge. Instead, what I got was mostly ice with a faint whisper of lime. And the lime they used seems to be the very first lime picked by Anita herself, it was so desiccated. The tequila? Completely MIA. I’m not saying I needed a Mexican vacation in a glass, but this was more like an overpriced iceberg.
All in all, Anita’s delivered on being a unique experience, just maybe not the kind I’d rush to repeat. But hey, if you’re in the mood for mild tacos, mid fajitas, and a mildly puzzling service dynamic, this is your spot!

Excellent, good size, casual local Mexican restaurant with a nice bar area too. Parking is very easy. Staff is super friendly, fast service with warm chips and salsa. Or order arrived quickly, everything was exactly as ordered with very generous portions. We visited last year and will gladly visit again next year on our way thru the DC area.

Anita’s has been a family favorite since I was a young child. The food is always delicious. They have great breakfast options and is a wonderful place for a breakfast date. The breakfast specials are also good and at a good price. I would highly recommend, the food is great, the staff is friendly, and it is very family friendly.

We really enjoy visiting this Anita’s location for breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious and generous, and the prices are reasonable. The customer service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciate our regular waitress, Lupita, who is always prompt and cheerful, greeting us with a smile! Highly recommend.

I hesitated to post this but since it’s a hygiene/health concern, I would really like for the restaurant to take appropriate measures to ensure that this doesn’t happen to other costumers. A breakfast burrito that came with my order contained a large finger nail (sorry for the graphic imagery) and unfortunately, I had already bit into it when I found out. Called the restaurant, they were apologetic and issued a refund but denied it even after seeing the pictures. They said it must be the remains from chili peppers when they blend them to make the salsa. I cook regularly and I am certain this is not a food item. Please prioritize food safety. I will not be ordering from here again and I am put off entirely from eating out…

I’ve been going to Anita’s for a while. I’m from El Paso, TX and this food reminds me of home. I recently learned about their Happy Hour! Monday-Friday 3-7 $4 16 oz beer, $7 Sangrias, $6 6 piece buffalo wings, $2 tacos with taco meat or chicken, $10 quesadilla, $4 fajita taco, $5 fish taco, $8 macho nacho, and 40% off all day for Thirsty Thursday! They’re open early!
