The Original Hot Bagels Abroad is easily one of the best places to grab a fresh, satisfying breakfast or lunch. Their bagels are always hot, chewy, and full of flavor. Whether you go for a classic bacon, egg & cheese or a specialty sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. They also offer a great variety of cream cheeses, spreads, and deli items to suit any taste.
The staff is friendly and works efficiently, even during the hectic morning and weekend rush. It’s clear they’re experienced and know how to keep things moving while still treating each customer with respect and patience.
The only small issue I noticed is the placement of the digital menu screen—it’s positioned off to the side rather than directly behind the cashier. This makes it a bit awkward for first-time visitors or anyone trying to decide quickly in a busy line. Moving it behind the counter would really improve the flow of the ordering process.
That aside, everything else is top-notch. Great food, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment. I always look forward to coming back. If you’re a bagel lover, this place should definitely be on your list!

All I can say…..Bagels sandwiches! And Yoohoo! I haven’t had a Yoohoo in years. The sandwiches are excellent. So good, I had 2 of them.

Great delicious bagels! I like this location better than the one in Clifton. As a plus, they make their own bagels.
It’s more spacious and better ambiance. The only potential issue might be parking. I think it’s only street parking as I did not see any parking lots so if it’s busy, as it usually is, this might be a challenge but I think there’s plenty of parking on the side streets.
Service is great! It might be busy but the lines do move fast.
I’m glad to have this bagel place so close by.

Bagels are the best in the area but today when my toddler had an unprovoked mental breakdown bc her bagel was cut in half, everyone behind the counter was so kind and got her another one uncut on the house. Any overstimulated mom will vouch how appreciated that was in the moment especially because I didn’t even ask. Great customer service

There is so much to LOVE about this place! The bengals are the freshest in town, the egg sandwiches are cooked to order, delicious and affordable, and the owners are some of the nicest people in town! They are always giving to the community with things like a tree lighting with free hot chocolate and goodies in addition to running this gem. *If it is a nice day, grab a seat outside 🙂

The flavor of this bagel shop compares to a scene out of the Sopranos. Yes , the bagels are best you can buy Tri-state and the lox are cut fresh as they are ordered as if each server was a Russian or European expert. A supreme selection of spreads. The true delight of the place consists of the old men chatting as if they are old school neighborhood guys. If you go to jersey and you want to feel Jersey then visit real Jersey and remnants of the boys.

My go to bagel spot. Super fast and affordable food that tastes amazing. I recommend ordering ahead during the weekends or you might be in line for a bit because they make everything fresh and get a lot of customers
