It’s good. Food came out amazing. We came in from out of town and were pleasantly surprised. Owner came over and checked on us and gave a very warm welcome. Definitely come in and check out the place, the food is worth it. Vibe is great and you can relax. Come in if you have some time to relax as that is the mood.

I don’t give a lot of 5 star ratings. This place truly deserves it. From the waiter to the chef, everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. The food was great. Everything we ordered was full of unique flavors. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they put out. Also they served me the best old fashioned I’ve ever had in Xenia. Great job, we will be back!

We recently had a wonderful dining experience at Upper Echelon, a local gem in Xenia, Ohio. It’s clear the owner’s dedication shines through in every detail, from the inviting ambiance to the meticulously crafted dishes. Whether you’re looking for a family dinner or a relaxed evening enjoying good music and drinks, Upper Echelon delivers.
For our meal, I indulged in the lobster ravioli, which was absolutely phenomenal. My wife couldn’t get enough of her glazed chicken, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the savory bacon ranch chicken flatbread. While I opted for a bottle of their delightful house wine to go (having already savored an Old Fashioned that rivaled those from high-end establishments), their drink menu is certainly worth exploring.
Meeting the owner was a highlight. He’s a genuinely respectable individual whose passion for creating unique and delicious food is evident in every bite. You can truly taste the heart he puts into his recipes. Discovering new local restaurants in the greater Dayton area is always a treat, and Upper Echelon has definitely earned a top spot on my list. I’m already looking forward to bringing friends and family to share this fantastic experience.

We tried Upper Eschelon after we heard some good things about their food. We had the fried mushrooms for appetizer, they were the best that I’ve ever had! My husband had the fried pork chops and I tried the Rasta Pasta. Very delicious! Pork chops were juicy, tender and fried to perfection. Delicious crispy breading. My pasta was equally excellent. Creamy sauce with a little heat on the end. Yum! The vegetables were fresh and the food portions are very generous. We would definitely come back. A hidden gem in Xenia! I can’t wait to see how this restaurant grows in the future.

First time here- I really wanted a steak for dinner and I try to support local so when I heard of this place I wanted to check it out. To start: the bartender was fantastic – when she learned it was my first time she shared recommendations and suggestions and was so welcoming. I ended up getting the strip steak with garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I ordered anticipating I wouldn’t be able to eat that much food but everything was just SO GOOD I couldn’t stop! I am so excited to have another amazing local restaurant here in Xenia and my only regret is that I didn’t realize they were here sooner!

I ordered the Tuscan alfredo and added chicken, with a side Cesar salad…this was ordered as take out. The dish came out hot and quickly. After getting home, I was surprised by the generous size of the salad. The romaine was crisp, as were the croutons; the dressing was tasty and evenly distributed. The Tuscan alfredo was delicious! The pasta and the chicken were cooked perfectly, with a wonderful amount of sauce. The twist with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach added another layer of flavor that balanced well with the sauce. I met the owner while picking up my order. He is kind, and obviously dedicated to delivering high-quality food and service to the local neighborhood. I will certainly be stopping back in for another bite soon! Thank you, Mark and staff, I hope you continue to flourish!

This was fantastic in terms of price, taste and service – and we travel all over the US. Our waitress Adara was fun, attentive and had great recommendations.

Shrimp app, deep fried veggie app, salmon dinner, chop steak, chimmy with 2 beers, 2 cokes, a marg ran us $109 which isnt bad at all. Owner came and met us he was amazing and also a cook. Our server eric and tiff were sweethearts deff will be back. The place is beautiful and clean and have music on thursdays and saturdays

A somewhat hidden jewel, with an unassuming outside but classy, friendly, warm inside. We had amazing stuffed pork chops, fresh Caesar salad, excellent Pinot grigio and Pinot noir. Staff were real, fun, friendly, attentive. We used to live in Xenia, now in Columbus, and met friends. Wish it had been here when we were living here. We’ll be back!
