Food sucked skyline I wish you were open pretty much you gotta be drunk to eat this food dry as hell. The worst food I’ve ever ate they might as well just give me just noodles. There was more chili on the hotdog than there was the spaghetti skyline put them to shame.

This was my first time trying Gold Star, and it made for a solid meal after a long day. I had the super sized 5-way chili and it really hit the spot. The service was good even though it was towards the end of the evening, and the restaurant was clean. The chili itself didn’t skimp on toppings or flavor. I’ll have to try some of the other items next time.

Years ago if my memory is correct, GOLDSTAR offered a SMOKED SAUSAGE CONEY around OCTOBERFEST. I always wished they’d make it a regular menu item! NOTHING LIKE A SMOKED SAUSAGE CHEESE CONEY!!! Please consider making it a regular menu item.

Crinkle cut fries were excellent.
The burger had a homemade quality, no gimmicks, simple but EXCEPTIONAL GOODNESS!!!!! GREAT JOB GOLDSTAR!!!

Worst spaghetti i ever had. There was more chilli in my coney then there was in my spaghetti. We paid more for 2 people at Goldstar than we do 3 at skyline.

I think that the owner of this location should be ashamed for being open during a historical snow storm when every other business in town is closed because they care about their employees and their safety. This speaks volumes in priorities in management vs concerns for employees and their families.

Ate there for breakfast as I do many times. Always a decent place. Seems after the remodel food is thrown in the bags. I’ll change my review after the service improves. Right now it’s 50/50.
12/4/19 Update, the service has improved and my food is no longer being mutilated. At this time they are a 5 star with teh very clean facilities they just upgraded.

Not for me, more cheese than proteins. Banana shake was good but the drive thru girl spilled it and gave me a half empty cup with ice cream all over it. Inside service was good though.

We love this place! It’s like Cheers without the beers! Great, super-friendly wait staff! Great Cincinnati-style chili and breakfast, too! Great owner/operator who really cares about his staff and gets out on the floor to chat with his customers! (and deliver orders and clear tables, if there’s a rush!) All of these factors combine to produce a comfortable ambience that makes you want to hang out. Stop in and experience it for yourself sometime!
