Restaurant was very nice and well kept. I appreciated how clean and quiet it was when we arrived. However service was pretty odd and spotty. Food wasn’t bad, but fries didn’t taste fresh. I wasn’t super impressed with our entrees in general. The appetizers were the peak of our meal. I did enjoy the fried pickle spears.

I’m not sure if our server did her best or not. We didn’t get any water, we didn’t get any plates for our appetizers, and there was a bug in my drink. The food was good and the atmosphere is nice. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Craving seafood, we decided to drop by Old Bag of Nails. We were seated right away and quickly received our drinks. I chose a tall, frothy Guinness, while my wife went for a cranberry Kentucky mule. Our order was taken very quickly, and the food arrived in just about 15 minutes, given it was a fairly light lunch crowd
I opted for the Classic Fish and Chips, which featured two crispy British-style Atlantic fillets that were absolutely delicious. The meal also came with seasoned steak fries and a sweet, tangy coleslaw—an excellent combination
My wife had the seasonal lobster rolls off their winter menu served with kettle chips, and she said had the perfect balance of mayonnaise, butter, and lobster, all brought together by a lightly toasted New England roll
Our server, Maddison, provided friendly and attentive service throughout the meal. We definitely look forward to returning soon!

Bag of Nails in Whitehall, OH with one of my good friends. Nice big open dining area. Modern seating with booths or tables. Mounted television in the booth seating area. Mounted televisions throughout the restaurant. Similar wall decor that favor their Nelson Road location. I ordered a small Loaded Chili with Cornbread. I also ordered the Gaylord Burger with French Fries, a Margarita for my cocktail, and a Coca Cola. The chili was delicious but could have been warmer. The burger was bigger than expected and yummy!The Margarita was okay. Our server was amazing. Thank you. Parking out front and on the side of the restaurant. Decent prices.

mazing service from our server tonight. Super attentive without hovering, genuinely kind, and had such a great energy the whole time. Made the experience feel effortless and fun one of those people who clearly enjoys what they do, and it shows. If great service had a personality, this would be it. One of our favorite places!
The pickels, mushrooms, fish and chips are so good. They used to have Shepherds Pie, it was the best. The roast beef and cabbage is highly addictive!
It’s a fan place to meet friends and have great evening. In the summer there is nice outside area.

Really grateful for the team here today. They accelerated their service and bent over backward to serve us “out-of-towners” good food so we could make our flights timely at the nearby airport. Thank you for a delicious Reuben sandwich and kind, understanding, speedy service!

We ordered delivery and spent 160 on food and didn’t get anywhere what it should have been and not only that we didn’t get all of our food. Ordered cheese curds that is 14 and got a handful only. Loaded nachos was soggy and could tell they have been setting for ever.
