Just like Steak ‘n Shake, I like the steak burger style. I got the prime rib steak burger and got what I was expecting out of it Price fair n the food was fresh. Under $15 a person with a drink. I felt like the dollar went far compared to other similar places. I didn’t expect for the chili cheese fries to be that big to say it was a side, and good. Everything is made fresh so don’t be in a rush when you come. I will definitely be back to try all the desserts they also have sauces and seasonings for sale at the counter.

Their burgers are steak burgers, and smashed, so they have a little crisp to them and all the veggies taste fresh. The onion rings are my favorite but the fries are great too! I usually get the prime burger with the California toppings and it’s probably the best burger that comes from a chain, and it’s like $10-$15 for a meal which isn’t bad for the quality that you get.
Great opening week, hope you guys stay staffed and consistent because the experience was great!

Freddy’s just opened and it’s already so good! The burgers ( California Style) are juicy, fries are super crispy and seasoned really well (strong fries), and the vibe is really nice. Definitely a new go-to spot!

Let me first say we love Freddy’s in our household & have eaten at many locations all over Texas & were so excited to be getting one in Beaumont. But that’s where the excitement ends. If I’d never had Freddy’s before & today was my first experience I’d have zero reason to go back. The thing that makes Freddy’s special & sets them apart is the fact that their hamburger patties are smash patties & always have a lovely crispy edge & grilled flavor. We ordered 2 burgers & both had patties that looked & tasted like they were cooked in a microwave. Floppy & indistinguishable from a patty at the McDonald’s across the street. No crisp & no grill flavor. Beyond that both burgers (that’s all we ordered btw, not combos, a very simple order) were messed up so badly. We ordered 1 classic Freddy bacon double (as it comes, no changes) & 1 California (no onion, add pickle). The classic Freddy burger was dry (meat/cheese/bread only, no condiments) and the California had extra onions, no pickles & was absolutely swimming in thousand Island. Disappointing is an understatement. The semi positive was that while the line was long it moved at a decent pace & the young lady at the window was pleasant. I’m happy to update my review if things change but today wasn’t it.

Just left Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Beaumont, Texas, and WOW. I’ve been wanting to try Freddys since it opened, so my mom & I went in for lunch today. It was kinda busy so we got in line which was fine since it gave us a few minutes to look at the posted menu.. we couldn’t focus on it much though since we had to move out of the way many times for people cutting through walking in & out of the door. I guess the way it’s set up inside isn’t convenient for when it’s busy. The tables were cramped & too close to each other. The chairs are comfy but people kept hitting one of the empty chairs at our table as they walked by so we moved as soon as 1 of 3 booths opened up. Everyone on staff from the lady at the register to the guy making the shakes were very friendly & it was very clean. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings & she ordered the senior single cheeseburger with shoestring fries. The sweetened tea container was empty so I chose a soda, mom got the brisk raspberry tea which she immediately disliked. I tried it, it was ok but not a lot of flavor. So the food..sadly we weren’t impressed. My chicken sandwich wasn’t very tasty & my first thought about it was ‘frozen grocery store bag of chicken patties’. My onion rings were overcooked & hard. Mom liked her fries & was on the fence about her burger. We won’t be back for a meal. What we will be back for is a custard shake. We both had a hot chocolate frost shake. That!!…was impressive! It was the best shake both of us had ever tasted. They have numerous yummy flavors too so we’re looking forward to trying them in the future. I guess if they just sold the custard shakes I’d be giving 5 stars. Not trying to be mean just sharing our experience.

I’m a houstonian at heart, so a Freddy’s trip sounded great! Food was good, they were super busy, some miscommunication/mistakes were made on my order and others, but reconciled quickly. I’m not a fan of their seating arrangement, it’s like a Five guys, I feel like they need more booths in the center. It makes the experience less comfortable and feels crowded. Also the sweet tea had no sweetness at all. After the crowd dies down a bit, we will definitely have another trip.

Finally got to try out the new Freddys Custard place in Beaumont. Wow ! Impressive. Service was great. Harmony was so sweet and helpful with the menu. Got the prime rib steak burger minus the mushrooms, tator tots and a turtle concrete . Burger….. great, garlic aioli soo good with the grilled onions. Tots were hot and fresh .. but man o man the custard …. to die for !!! The general manager came to my table and asked how things tasted, she has an amazing smile and attitude and the attention for a fast food place was above and beyond. Definitely will be going back !! My new go to burger and shake place , oops I mean custard lol.

Got a drive thru order, first time here. Got a double bacon burger combo. They were out of fries which was strange and a little disappointing to me, but that’s okay, can’t help that. I opted for onion rings.
I had a coupon from the app for a free concrete after making an account. I tried to use it at the window after adding the concrete and was told it didn’t work. I explained I was trying to cash in the free concrete and tried showing the employee the terms to reach a resolution, but was simply told, “I’m not sure.” I don’t think she was trying to be rude, but she seemed a bit confused, could’ve been really new, so I forgot about it and asked to remove the ice cream. She grabbed who I assumed was a manager and then asked why I wanted to take the ice cream off. I thought this was odd considering what just happened, but I reminded her that the coupon didn’t work, and if that was the case I didn’t want it anymore. It was removed afterwards, and I got my food after a short wait.
The onion rings weren’t that good, but they weren’t the worst I’ve ever had. Just a little overdone. The burger was tasty, but I don’t get those crispy edges I hear so much about.
It was an unfortunate first visit, but the food was okay. The service was my biggest issue. I may have just caught the place on a weird day or something. This one might be a one and done for me.
