This place is a bagel sandwich shop and it is one of my favorites because almost every menu item has a vegan version! The staff is super friendly and so kind which makes it even better! Not all of their bagels are vegan so make sure to ask when you order! ✨
They have a huge menu and lots of toppings to choose from so ordering online might be easier for you.lol
They also have seasonal bagels and drinks. The pumpkin bagel and the salted rosemary bagel are both seasonal and both amazing. I loved their savory bagel sandwiches but the combo of the salted rosemary bagel with vegan pumpkin spice cream cheese was perfection the salty and creamy mix was so good!

The place is clean, but the staff seemed a bit distracted and messed up my order. They charged me for extra jalapeño, but when I got my bagel sandwich, there wasn’t any. I didn’t want to complain about the small mistake because I was the only Black person in the restaurant and didn’t want to feel uncomfortable. So, I moved on.
Next, I ordered an ice Americano and an ice matcha. The shot was burnt, and the matcha wasn’t even green. It was grayish and tasted like milk. I wouldn’t order drinks from this place again, but I’ll definitely come back to occasionally eat a bagel sandwich.
Overall, the sandwich was mediocre. I personally prefer driving down to Portland to eat something else.

I was excited to get a bagel this morning, so I decided to splurge and paid $4.50 for the garlic bagel with cream cheese and I asked them to toast it extra dark. I got it to go, and when I got home, I saw it was a barely toasted bagel absolutely overloaded with cream cheese. Not warm, not toasty… very disappointed.

Hot chai was creamier than anticipated which I ended up loving, Asiago toasted with lox was very good. Fasted paced service and very nice staff. They have a large variety more baked goods rather than just bagels.

Stopped in for quick bite after doing some Christmas shopping. I wasn’t there until later in the afternoon. Needless to say, the the selection was slim. My favorite is the cobbler bagel. It’s infused with various berries I believe. They are amazing!! I had to settle on a Pumpkin Spice bagel with a pumpkin spice cream cheese. It was very good.. not my Cobbler but it was good. My granddaughter had an Everything bagel and she loved it!! What I love about Seize the Bagel is they are consistently amazing. The bagels are as they should be. They have to be chewy on the outside and soft and beautiful on the inside. These were just as I described. Plus they were both big on flavor.. I was a bit disappointed that the vanilla cream cheese had been discontinued. Hopefully they will bring it back!
Parking isn’t great but Seize the Bagel is worth the frustration!

We ordered the beef dip bagel sandwiches and thought they were good overall. One of them had way too many onions, which made it a little messy and harder to eat. The restaurant was very busy at the time, and many of the tables needed to be cleaned.

I’ve ordered here several times and the service is horrible. Every time I’ve place an online order to try and get ahead of the 45+ minute or longer wait time (for a bagel) I show up when I get notified on my phone “your order is ready” just walk in and be blatantly ignored by the staff while I stand there at the “order pick up” side of the counter, to find out they haven’t even started making my order yet and I’m told, “it’ll be at least 15 minutes sweetie”. This has happened practically every time I come here. What is the point of having the option to order online when it’s faster to walk in and place my order at the register. The most recent time I came I ordered my sandwich online with extra ham(extra $3 cost), and after I arrived to pick up my order I was told “it’s not ready” as I watch them begin to finally start making my order 20 minutes later I overhear the employee say to themselves “extra ham? Yeah I’m not doing that” as she reads my order sheet. HA! What a bold thing to say in-front of paying customers. If you’re willing to sacrifice an hour and put up with all of this the bagel sandwich isn’t horrible but in my opinion the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great morning bagels and a friendly atmosphere — this is not the place.
Let’s break it down. The staff is incredibly rude, especially the older woman behind the counter. She acts as if everyone should already know how things work there, even if it’s your first time visiting.
There’s also no signage to indicate where to order. When you walk in, the counter on the left is serving food, and that’s where the menu is displayed. Naturally, we went there — only to be told by one staff member that orders are taken at the register on the right. Then another employee yelled that we were supposed to order at the counter. Confusing and unnecessary.
When we finally placed our order, we asked for a small handheld menu since the posted one was hard to read from where we were standing. We were told, rather bluntly, that there was only one menu. My friend asked if they had lox, and the older staff member snapped, “It’s on the menu.” I explained again that we couldn’t see the menu clearly, but she didn’t care.
We also asked for all three bagels to be extra toasted. While waiting, I noticed that not a single employee changed their gloves. I politely asked one of the younger girls to please change them after making the lox bagel because I’m severely allergic to it. She sharply replied, “We do.” Yet, I never saw her change them once.
Then came the final disappointment — microwaved bagels. We saw several being reheated that way, and unfortunately, they tasted exactly like it. By the time we got home, our order was a cold, rubbery mess.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend Seize the Bagel to anyone looking for a good bagel or a pleasant start to their day. The service, the food quality, and the overall experience were all well below expectations.

Awesome little bagel place. They also serve coffee and other drinks as well. They offer a wide variety of tasty bagels and bagel breakfast sandwiches. You can also place large orders for bagels and coffee perfect for events and early mornings. I got the Hazel dell sandwich and it was great. I also got a free pastry to sample too!!!

They would get a high five rating from me but they have discontinued their veggie cream cheese! WHY??? Please bring this delicious creamy goodness back. How can you have so many bagel options but no veggie cream cheese?! Please reconsider!!
