We came in for a late lunch on a Saturday having heard wonderful things about their buffet. But not on a Saturday. 🙁 we began with Slap My Momma fries with bacon, chicken, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms. They were great! My husband had Chicken Nopalito… chicken breast w/ cheese sauce, vegetables, rice and beans. It came sizzling and hot! He said it was incredible. I had steak fajitas, rice and beans with side salad. Again-outstanding. Mexican food in Georgia is not the same range of subtle flavors as we found in TX and now N Mississippi. Service was the best, very attentive without being intrusive. Even our water seemed special. If we are ever back in this area, we look forward to eating here again.

If you crave Mexican food like I do, let me tell you… This is a perfect spot for you! This small family owned Mexican gem has amazing service, delicious food and a comfortable cozy atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Ms Roxanna was our server. She was very friendly and helpful. They also offer outdoor seating on those perfect weather days.

Saturday night about 8:30, traveling and needed a meal. Hip hop rap music blasting away outside. Staff seemed to have called it a night- tables not cleaned off then as we are seated they leave the cart overfilled with dishes next to us as they start cleaning tables! Food was ok not a lot of flavor
I believe the owner came by and checked on us because we had been sitting awhile before our order was taken and then magically our waiter appeared! Probably a good place but don’t go later is my belief

Layover in holly springs b4 business in Tennessee and need food. This place was up. Chips were plentiful as were da dinks. Plates were good and filling. Mr Martin is very hospitable, professional and down to earth. As being from Texas, we needed salsa with some kick! Mr Martin came back with an angry dip and it hit da spot!!! And patience as different parties arrived at different times. This a nice place on da hill to sit and relax with a refreshment…

Best Mexican Restaurant! They got our double order of fajitas out in FIVE MINUTES. The food was incredibly fresh and the salsa had just a touch of cilantro, the best kind! My husband and I love Mexican food and try it wherever we go. This was the best by far! **Super clean** and the restrooms had real walls and doors making up the stalls for complete privacy. We were extremely impressed by this outstanding restaurant!

El Nopalito is a must-visit for salsa and chips lovers. The salsa has the perfect blend and the chips are fresh and crispy. The overall food is fantastic with authentic Mexican flavors. This place never fails in the kitchen. I’ve gone about 4 times and 3 times I got the Spinach and chicken quesadilla, which is so Delicious but I wanted to try something different and got the chicken Alfredo, OMG it was so good and cheesy. The drinks are good too especially the “Walk me down” it’s like a dangerous Kool aid but not as sweet.

Place was a total wreck. Trash and cups left on the outside tables from the previous nights shift, mops and brooms left in walk ways, bathrooms were horrid. Food was mediocre. Chile releno tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved, enchiladas were so basic i could have made better at home, rice was bland. Staff was barely helpful. Wont be going back ever.

Was giving this place another chance. Worst idea I have ever had. Food went down in quality. Staff was very unhelpful. I had to go find my own silverware and napkins. Member of my group ordered chicken taquitos. One had a dollop of very unseasoned potatoes inside, the other had half burnt shredded chicken and the other one was basically empty. This place is a joke.
