I was here twice in 4 months
May 2022: Tired from a long day, and soaked from the rain, we checked into the hotel next door and walked over to Tavern Ninety Four for dinner. Our waitress (I’m so sorry I forgot your name, but you were from BC) was a complete sweetheart. She recommended a local beer to us, and she was taking care of all of the tables and really moving – but never made us feel rushed. We had a couple of beers and an excellent burger with onion rings on it and tater tots on the side, and I tried a Reuben pizza…never had one of those before, but I like Reuben sandwiches and it was awesome. It was a very enjoyable meal, made all the better by our attentive waitress. (I hope that you get to visit your mom, soon) This visit 5/5

Stopped by around 4pm after having some beers at Brockopp Brewing.
They had just opened so the place was empty. Everything was clean and tidy. The bartend was friendly and attentive.(we forgot to get her name ). We ordered the OMG as an appetizer.
It is a combo of the Super Fries
Fries loaded with nacho cheese, shredded cheese, bacon bits, tomatoes, onions, black olives, sour cream and ranch & the Loaded Tots
Tots loaded with mac and cheese, nacho-cheese, shredded cheese, bacon, tomatoes and onions. HUGE PORTION and very tasty. My wife had the chicken strips with onion rings. Huge strips and very crunchy onion rings. The garlic sauce she had was very powerful with a hint of sweet.
I had the German Ruben burger. (Locally sourced burger & steak). The sweet potato fries were good. The burgers didn’t appear to be hand formed. Very dense and uniform in shape. I prefer my burgers cooked medium(that’s what I asked for) but this was no where close to medium. Patty itself was very dry and not much flavor.
The corned beef was almost nonexistent and did not provide any additional flavor. The sauerkraut & 1000 island was also on the light side. Daughters Jamaican Burger (not pictured, burger patty with garlic chicken, swiss cheese and BBQ sauce) was smaller then the bun and no flavor profiles. She did say that there was a good portion of chicken on it but no garlic taste.
Overall good experience. All the food was hot and came out in a reasonable amount of time.
They also had a good variety of tape beers and a full bar.

Avoid at all costs. The rudest bartender I have ever met. Rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath as we ordered. Then practically ignored us the rest of the time. Burger was burnt and onion rings were raw. Physically couldnt eat our food and went to bed hungry. Terrible experience after a full day of driving. No idea how that bartender (“Captain Tattoos”) has a job. Eat anywhere else.

We were there over North Star & Winter Show- Since the bar was bought out by new owners or taken over by new employees it SUCKS!!! The workers don’t want to leave from behind the bar to wait on tables. They will look at you and ignore you. Takes forever to get service or your orders. They take breaks more than they want to work & stink like weed. The riffraff that they are bringing in start fights in a motel joined facility. It’s a shame, it use to be a great place to eat and my kids use to love joining us in there. Not anymore!! Go across the street to Bridges. Great food and great service!!

Slow service took over 40 to get two burgers and a handful of fries. They were out of everything. Server would rather sit and bs with someone than check on us. Table next to us was waiting for a pizza for over an hour and still waiting when we took our food to go. I would not pay 15 $ per plate for a small burger and a small helping of fries.

Food is fenominal. Service was good Thursday night. But there are 2 guys with tattoos and an old lady that weren’t serving us because we asked if our food was on the grill. We were sitting there for 2 hours, and we did not get our food. We were in there tonight with the same workers, and they made the new guy serve us (which is very good) because they didn’t want to. I WOULD FIRE THE TATTOOED GUYS AND OLD LADY. The 2 ladies that were in there on Thursday, December 6th, were great.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The food was fine, but the service was absolutely terrible!! They had less than half their menu available. The guy working left to go buy more stuff from the gas station. The other employee was just sitting at the bar and drinking and vaping….absolutely terrible

Was in from out of town staying at the hotel so thought I’d give this place a try. Guy at the front desk recommended the pizza. Sat at the bar and ordered a small pepperoni pizza and a beer. Beer can right away. After 45 mins of waiting for the pizza the waitress gave mine to a different customer. During this entire time the waitress or the other bartender never said anything to me about my order or even asked if I wanted another beer. Service was terrible. After I told the waitress she gave my order to a different customer, she never apologized or anything. She was going to have the kitchen make my order but I just told her to forget it and I walked out. Chatted with another couple later that evening at a different restaurant and they had also experienced SLOW service the last time they tried this place. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have all the time in the world.

Inside the motel. Since we were here last the service has become awful. We don’t know how the food tastes anymore because we ordered our food, asked about it several times and said there was a problem in the kitchen that had no control over. After an hour and a half we just got up and left. During our wait they never refilled my water, brought my husband his water or asked if he wanted more drink! Hope when the food finally came out they were asked about the food lost but not our problem. We were traveling and had such a good experience the first time that we returned and gave them 5 stars. Now we will not only not return but give them 1 star and they don’t even rate that high!
