As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

If I could leave zero stars I would. When I pulled up to the window I was met with a very unprofessional worker who was rushing me to order and was making rude remarks, further I payed a little more than 30 dollars for a burger in which i asked for no tomato because my friend is allergic and when it came to me there were multiple tomatoes in it. Also i ordered loaded fries, the bacon was burnt and there was multiple strands of wig hair in them, i asked for a replacement and they threw chese on one side of the container and on the other cold fries and burnt bacon, i ordered the 3 piece combo chicken tinders and they were obviously old because they were cold rubbery, they were absolutely disgusting, i asked specifically for sauce multiple times and when they handed me my bag there was no sauce in the bag, i asked at the window for sauce and they never gave it to me, when pulling in to the parking lot all of the workers were on their phones not doing anything and when i got to the window they were still on their personal phones, when i tried talking to them they barely looked at me because they were on their phones, never eating here again and i recommend for everyone who even thinks about it, DONT.

We stopped today at this location in Newport News. we’ve been doing food reviews and decided to stop here to do one. After the order was completely messed up we decided not to do a video review.

After ordering my hotdog and telling them everything I wanted on it, he corrected me and told me I wanted to chili dog.
They still gave me me a hotdog with only ketchup and mustard
The fries they gave me were reheated and cold.
When I informed the manager, she wrote her eyes as if it was an issue on fixing the problem they had. We will not return.

As a restaurant owner myself, I am appalled that they even let these chicken tenders leave the restaurant. I know that this is fast food, and there are hard days, but they sent these out knowing that these were not edible. Don’t waste your money wanting to try their “fry seasoned chicken tenders” 11 dollars for flat, cooked too many times, burnt chicken tenders.

The food is cheap and good. The location is small and hard to maneuver, especially when other drivers are going the wrong way. On nice days, there is an option to sit outside and eat, otherwise it is drive-thru. No inside seating available.

I ordered 2 big Buford combos 1 with coke other with unsweet tea, what I get half sweet and they remembered I wanted unsweet tea, lettuce on the sandwich was old, the quality of food prep is going down, will not return until business improve. Update 7/28/23 They ask for another chance and this is what I got, asked for a large Buford combo, got a small fry and poor ingredients on the Buford see the pics, so this store is off my list.

Food great as usual. Service was fine in general. Was a little frustrated that they had two drive-thru lanes that appeared to be open (no visible sign to suggest otherwise). So I pulled up to the one on the left and was told (in unintelligible fast food speaker sound) to please pull to the other window. A little annoying; they need a way to indicate when a lane is closed.
