So let’s talk food
SAGANAKI CHEESE PLATE 5/5 this was a beautiful dish the cheese had a great crispy exterior and the chili sauce that came with delicious
SEARED SEA SCALLOPS 5/5 I couldn’t resist ordering this again and boy it was hard deciding between this and the lamb carbonara but it won out in the end. Perfectly cooked, I probably would say the first time I had it it came with fried sweet potato versus the roasted roots the prior of which I preferred, otherwise it was delicious
GRILLED KING SALMON 5/5 my husband loved this dish, the skin was super crispy without over cooking the salmon.
DUNGENESS & ROCK CRAB MAC & CHEESE 5/5 listen just get this, don’t even question it. It’s decadent and creamy and tasty…. Just… trust me
GARLIC CHILI OIL BRUSSELS SPROUTS 5/5 don’t you just love a really good veggie side that has its own kick, this thing was delicious with the perfect amount of heat
I would 100000% recommend this place, especially for a special occasion BUT they also have a happy hour, go have fun my peeps
Depending on your meal time, you may be treated to a sunset, which is lovely — though be prepared for some blinding sun in your face before it sets! Service was good, though there was a surprising amount of time until we were able to place a drink and appetizer order. After that point though our server was excellent and very attentive.
Our food was good. The bread appetizer with the rasperry butter was excellent. Our mains were a mix. It’s partly my fault for not reading the description of the scallops close enough and seeing they were only seared. I greatly prefer scallops to be fully cooked vs. near raw. The scallops were very large, but only three, so this isn’t the dish to get if you’re hugry. My wife had the half-chicken and it was good plus was a good portion size. The chai cider she had was fantastic.
They add in an automatic 20% service charge, regardless of party size, and no extra tip is expected. I don’t mind this if it means the staff are being paid well.
Overall it was a nice experience and I’d certainly come back to experience different food.
We greatly appreciate the Aerlume team’s effort in making our celebration such a success throughout the planning, helping create customized menus and drinks to day of coordination and everything in between. We will gladly recommend the venue to anyone seeking an elegant setting with outstanding service.
We had a gorgeous view of the water and the food was so amazing and fresh. Also the peach cobbler was 10/10!
Overall it was a perfect romantic dinner for my husband and I, and we will be back.
Thank you!
The restaurant itself had a beautiful view and they placed us right in front of the windows, though far too many people decided to stand in front of was for probably a half hour blocking said beautiful view but not the restaurants fault
The service was impeccable, greeting on point and our server was present without being too overwhelming
Now the food… guys everything was 6/5 I was so so impressed. We had Grand Central Bakery Bread and Butter, the Duck Tacos which how fun was it when they spritz some yumminess on top. The Seared Sea Scallops was insane!! Ugh everything about it, the cook was perfect but the accompaniment of the sweet potato and romesco was perfection, my husband had the Smoked Lamb Carbonara and it is one is the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted.
Let’s talk about their Gaucho Mac & Cheese… what in the what guys, it’s so so good, like dream of it later good. We also had the lemon chili spinach side, that’s probably the only “ok” dish I’d try something different next time, I saved the best for last and that would be their Triple Chocolate Cake I kid you not, there are so few places who mistake a mousse as a cake. They know what they’re doing it was incredible and worth every bite
100% will be back
