First time eating at the Moon Buffet for our family. We were in from out of town and wanted a sit down kind of place with something for everyone. They had plenty to choose from and loads of dessert options as well. The kids tried a few new things, some they liked and some they did not. The place had good vibes, the music was not to loud and pleasant to listen to, it was not crowded at all while we were there. If I had to complain I would complain about not being able to have a take home drink as most places have this option and it would have been nice for the ride home. It’s not a deal breaker since the food was wonderfully tasty. I’d say go on and get ya some if you’re looking for something different. Thanks..

I had a very disappointing experience here. I paid about $60 for the dinner buffet for two adults and one child, and the way I was treated by the staff completely ruined the visit.
When I went to leave with an ice cream bar for my child, the woman at the register started yelling at me in front of everyone, saying that if I left with the ice cream I had to pay for it. The way she spoke to me was extremely rude and unnecessary. I had just spent $60 on a buffet meal, and instead of calmly explaining their policy, she chose to raise her voice and embarrass me over an ice cream bar. It felt petty and very unprofessional.
The environment also did not feel welcoming. Several customers kept staring at me in a way that made me uncomfortable. As an African Muslim woman, it made the experience feel even worse and added to the feeling that I was not welcome there.
This review is not just about the ice cream bar. It’s about basic respect and customer service. No one who spends their money to eat somewhere should be yelled at or made to feel unwelcome.
Because of the rude treatment and uncomfortable atmosphere, I will not be coming back.

Walking through the doors it smells like raid or some type of harsh chemical. We overlooked an thought maybe it was paint.
Service is absolutely terrible the gentleman who was our server was rude and kept giving us dirty looks. Whatever we came for the food specifically the crawfish
The food is not bad but they put a very small amount out and the lady who does will stand there and guard it and even stare at you with a look of disapproval while you’re getting food. She also was yelling at her Latino employees. Very hostile people.
Food is ok but not enough and with their prices and terrible service definitely not worth the drive.

Honestly, if you look at the front of this place you may just keep in driving BUT DON’T ‼ When you walk in this buffet is very well stocked extremely fresh and absolutely AMAZING good. Water is actually filtered and is great, the peanut butter chicken, wontons are EPIC, salad bar is ok, desert bar is awesome and the people are great. Absolutely beautiful inside. You won’t be disappointed

Me and a couple friends ate here around 8pm on a Thursday and thought it was a good experience. The service was good the atmosphere was what u would normally expect. The food was a bit limited for the time but very good overall. I will definitely be coming back for a 2nd try.

Food was awful. Not fresh; the fish smelled rotten, egg drop soup had clearly been sitting for a long time (was extra slimy). Waitress did come to check on us and was nice, and the music was enjoyable. However we came for the food, not the music. Better to save your money and go elsewhere.

First time eating here. We got takeout from here and it was very very good. The price is pretty good. I will be eating here again for sure.

Ever since I first came to this buffet, when it has first opened after renovations it is state of the art Their service is wonderful. The food is incredible. It does truly remind you of the Asian vibe culture that they have one of the nicest buffets I’ve been in Dayton, Ohio.

This place is hit or miss. If you don’t get here close to opening then the food will not be good so we go at that time.When you open up food should be ready. We were still waiting for the food to come out. After 45 minutes the sushi was never put out. You can also hear the women in the back yelling over the loud music. Ive also had my receipt mixed with someone elses not once but twice,but I don’t see that person anymore . I always give restaurants second chances bc you never know if someone is just having a bad day but it’s clearly the way this place is being managed. I will say I’ve never had bad service. Everyone is very kind.

Once was a remarkable buffet, there has been a noticeable decline in the past 2 years. The quality of the food was lacking, the chicken was all strangely sweet. Multiple items we could not even eat at all and had to be rejected. Furthermore, the price was unreasonably high for the quality of the food and lack of atmosphere. However, if you are desperate, really close to the Kettering hospital, and you come here during peak hours, you may receive a halfway decent experience.
