West Meadow Farm Bakery has been wonderful, especially for my wife, who has food allergies that require her to eat gluten free and dairy free. We have been going to the bakery for a number of years now and the quality of their bakes has been fantastic.
We especially enjoy getting our birthday cup cakes from here. The cupcakes are fun and tasty, especially the ones that have the rainbow frosting. If you have a certain type of cake you enjoy and it is not gluten free or dairy free. They are able to or will try to come up with a way to convert your recipe into a gluten-free and/or dairy free cake.
The owner and staff are great and will be happy to discuss bread, cakes or other items they sell.

The most amazing GF pastries I ever had!! My husband ordered the carrot cake for my birthday and it was just outstanding. As per his request they decorated with a sunflower and the frosting was just delicious. The cake was moist, perfect balance and the decoration was just stunning. We also have the pineapple custard bar, the sour cream coffee cake and the cheese bread and they were so good!!! We went back for more the next day Their prices are so good for GF Highly recommended it

West Meadow Farm Bakery is a wonderful gluten-free bakery in the Essex Junction area! We have seen this bakery for a while and finally had time to stop in, and this place was awesome!! Everything is gluten-free – there are so many options! We got many different things, from cookies to brownies to coffee cake to muffins…and so much more than I just listed. Everything was really good! Many items didn’t taste gluten-free at all – a lot of bakeries sacrifice good flavor or texture to make something gluten-free, but West Meadow Farm Bakery doesn’t do that. Also, service was great, the place was really clean, and there was even some seating outside. Even if you’re not gluten-free, this is definitely a place you should stop in to check out. Get there early to see all the options before they start to sell out! Check this place out!!

I am not exaggerating when I say the citrus poppy seed muffin I had today brought tears to my eyes. West Meadow Farm Bakery has, hands down, the best gluten free baked goods I have ever had. The absolute best part? Their loaves of bread are actually sandwich sized!!!!! I cannot wait to make French toast with the oatmeal bread, and a grilled cheese with the white bread. Many dairy free options as well!
Gluten free baking is expensive. There’s no getting around it. There are so many ingredients and components involved. This place is 100% worth the cost. I’m already spending $8 a loaf at the grocery store. I would rather pay $10 for a better quality product and support a small business. And the bread isn’t pre-sliced so I can cut it to my liking!!! I can’t wait to go back!

We ordered a custom carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for my Dad’s birthday. Classic taste, impossible to tell that it was GF! Everyone loved it, and the GF folks could enjoy without worry 🙂 5 stars!
