We serve delicious, southern food, cafeteria style. We still cook the way mom taught us, using her and grandma’s recipes. We make all of our desserts in house which is included with your meal. We have several plate sizes you can choose from. We are located behind the Krystal off of Hwy 21 in Rincon.

Right when you walk in the door you feel welcome. The feel of the place, the calm environment, and the face to face interaction with the hostesses and servers is done with a smile. If you like down south, home cooked food then this is the place for you. Miss Jean’s is using a tried and true, authentic legacy of a fried chicken recipe that’s the best I’ve ever had. On top of that, it’s paired with authentic Southern sides. $15 got us chicken, two sides, a biscuit, dessert, and a drink. We will definitely be coming back!!

This is where my brother wanted to go for his birthday lunch so he could get the shrimp, which is served on Mondays. We all got a small plate that included 1 meat, 2 sides, 1 bread, and 1 dessert. It was my 1st time going. I enjoyed the shrimp and sides. I also enjoyed looking around at the items for sale in the front of the restaurant.

3/25/24 definitely an older crowd! Always fried chicken then other entrees and vegetables. Buffet line moves fast. Pleasant workers.
1/6/24 lunch. Fried chicken, greens, corn, biscuit, lemon cake. That’s their small plate. Home-style cooking. Of you don’t like your green beans really cooked, this isn’t the place for you!

AMAZING…. fresh, delicious, and filling lunch! I kick myself for not visiting sooner in my life. The decor is aged as is the funiture… but don’t let that discourage you from the meal that is waiting!! Servers and waiting staff are pleasant as well.
