My wife and I were the first customers in the store and ordered two oat-milk lattes. Four people came in after us, ordered food and coffee, and somehow everyone got their orders before we did.
After waiting about 20 minutes, we were finally told, “Oh sorry, we have to remake them.” So not only were we ignored, but we also had to wait even longer because our drinks weren’t made correctly the first time.
When you charge $20 for two coffees, the bare minimum is getting the order right — and getting it out before the people who walked in after us. They gave us one free coffee, but honestly, the service was bad enough that both should’ve been comped.
Sad service, disappointing experience, and definitely not worth the price or the wait.

Barista Reina made this gorgeous and delicious Orange-Rose Lemonade! I was stunned when she put it on the counter and it looked picture perfect! Then I tasted it and was taken back even more with how delicious it is! I asked her for a good recommendation since the drink I wanted was out of season, and she really put her heart and soul into it! I love how convenient this location is on my drive to and from work, and the baristas are always super friendly, kind, and understanding! They’re always willing to make helpful recommendations on drinks, and always give good advice on what would taste best together! The shop is always clean and organized, and the music is always perfect!

Santa’s special was delicious. Topped with whipcream and dotted with cinnamon. The iced coffee was delicious and the atmosphere is so pretty. We cant wait to go back to try the Affogato and the ice cream flight!

We visited for iced coffees, Taralynn was the most amazing barista. Very kind, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable, attentive to detail, meticulously clean. She truly loves what she does. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Oh, also, my coffee was absolutely delicious.

Nov. 2025 update. It’s still a nice place. But the day after Thanksgiving they are operating with one staff member who is new and nice but not very good at making coffee. I am seeing an unfortunate trend in Foxtails. They were once a place where you could get amazing coffee at a premium price. Now more and more they are over priced poorly made drinks. If you spend 6–9.00 on a coffee it had better be awesome. I would take Starbucks any day of the week over what we got served here recently. Foxtail has watered down there training and there quality and it shows. Please don’t expect awesome here.

If you’re looking for a coffee shop experience in the villages this is it. Quaint little shop on the corner of buena vista and 466 in the same plaza as sprouts. Nice inside and simple outside seating. Beans are roasted in winter park and tend to be very high quality/fresh. They opened in April 2024 and this is my new spot for coffee in the villages. My experiences with the Baristas is that they are new, in training and are fairly attentive. I have been to many foxtails and recently took my parents to the roaster location in winter park. This location is one of my favorites. It’s larger, brighter and has a more spacious floor plan with more seating options than others. It’s the perfect place to get some work done or just hang out and have a conversation.

Julia was definitely one of the most friendly baristas ive ever met definitely went above and beyond for her job made my coffee really fast and held an amazing conversation as she did i would give her 100 stars if google would let me her station was definitely a lot cleaner then most coffee places

Cute & clean, with outdoor seating. My cappuccino was disappointing. It was lukewarm, served in a small paper cup, (no special swirl in a real cup- as if you were expected to GO not stay and savor, ) and was very bitter( like burnt) , not frothy or creamy. There was only one barista working, so either expect to wait 30 mins for your coffee or try the app I guess. You’ll need to go get your own napkins, stir stick and sweetener, too.

These 2 amazing baristas made my Father’s Day so special! I had a couple of hours to spare and I decided to check out this local coffee shop. I enjoyed a delicious medium roast with cream in a in-house mug. I stepped away for a moment and when I returned to my table I had a fresh piping hot cup of coffee waiting for me! I’ve never had such food service before. Tons of seating, great atmosphere, family friendly and quality coffee! Recommend to anyone in The Villages ☕️
