Edit: this was at 2pm in the middle of the day. Nowhere on google or the sonic app does it say they’re closed. You can see a huge line of receipts that have been printed throughout the day in the window, so clearly I’m not the only one they’ve been scamming. Beware.
They barely even assemble the food. They act like they couldn’t be bothered to provide customer service.
This time, my large fries were half full and far from fresh, clearly just what was left in the bottom of the warmer. My drink is 90% ice. My burger is soggy on the bottom (not even on the condiment side, like it’s been sitting on a cold surface and condensation formed) and has just has one big core chunk of lettuce.
Order taker seemed to be having a bad day. was rather short & didn’t seem to respond well when I pointed out an error on the order/screen twice. (I asked for no veggies on a burger & he rang up no bacon…???)
When the burger came out without bacon, I let the car hop know & told him about the tone & interaction. The car hop mentioned he could hear my original interaction/order conversation & said they’d make it right.
The order taker did come out & apologize & they remade the burger.
Owning mistakes & making things right took this from a 1 star to a 4 star review.
We all have bad days, but customer service is what makes/keeps customers coming back!
1) the last few times we’ve gone there’s been something missing or an item was wrong. Whether it be sauce packets, utensils, a drink….
2) the last two times the bag was handed to us upbright, prompting us to assume our tater tots were placed on the bottom of the bag, only to discover by the time we’ve arrived home that all of the tots have fallen out of their container and the entire bottom of the bag and now the floorboard is now coated in grease/chili cheese topping.
3) I don’t know if it’s teenagers who don’t know how to interact with the public yet or what but the attitude we’ve received from employees here has been rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. When I press the button, it is so I can ask someone something or place an order. It is NOT so I can be barked at about whatever is going wrong. I was not given space to voice my concern about the app because whoever answered was busy harping about systems being down before ending the line.
When I pressed the button AGAIN I explained we had already ordered online and we are picking up an order, we were given the answer “we can’t make you’re order here”. I asked “I already paid for my order from this location. What do I do about that then?” And the line was cut with no answer at all. Suddenly we were able to get our food.
After grease staining my floorboards twice, and given attitude the entire way time I was there, we won’t be returning here. We’re tired of the poor service, lack of attention to detail when preparing orders, and attitude.
