A hidden gem. I ordered the soup of the month and it was delicious. Hard to describe what delicious. I also ordered the meatball slider flight and it was very good. It comes with a beef, meatball Italian sausage, meatball and a chicken meatball. The chicken meatball was my favorite, but all were delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

My husband and I tried Ammirato tonight. My husband’s pasta was perfectly cooked. The red sauce was sweet and tangy, and the meatballs were delicious. My Italian wedding soup was the best I’ve ever eaten. This is a wonderful mom and pop restaurant. We will definitely be back again and again. Enjoy!

Wow, what a gem. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy with a very nice European vibe. We ordered the meatball bowls, one with beef, mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes, the other with chicken meatballs and red sauce with penne pasta and both were awesome. We also had the wedding soup which was excellent. When people figure out how good this place is they will be slammed.

I tried the spicy meatball bowl over pasta and I took home a gluten-free chicken meatball bowl. The spicy meatballs were excellent but much spicier than I thought they would be.
My husband liked the chicken meatballs which he had with the mushroom sauce over the cheddar mashed potatoes. I’m glad I tried this restaurant, I would go back next time I’m in the area.

The Food was awesome. The people that run the place was equally welcoming and nice .
The level of customization in the menu for meatballs was Incredible, especially when I saw we could have jasmine rice instead of the pasta too
Do not forget the Focassia . They are very very tasty . Unlike the store brought ones , these are the real deal !!!!

Very happy with my 2 visits here! I got the meatball bowls and tried their house sauce and the meat sauce which I have enjoyed! I also tried the house meatball and the spicy meatballs which I enjoyed! Baby loves the butter noodles and of course the stuff pepper soup was great!

Wonderful cozy little restaurant tucked away in Griffith! I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s great every time. Today I got the meatball Panini with the blended meatball recipe, and it was perfectly crisp with a hint of spice therefore very enjoyable!

Cozy little place hidden in Griffith, Indiana. The portions are generous, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. We’ve been to a meatball restaurant in Indianapolis and Ammirato’s ranks right up with one in a large city. Will make another trip to try other items on the menu next time we are in the area.

Friend and I decided to check them out for a little meal. We were there a little under an hour eating in. Tots and sauce was delicious. Meatballs are much bigger than I thought and have great flavor. I got an extra didn’t even finish one. Granted I got the mixed meatballs and it was much spicier than I thought but I still don’t think I would’ve finished the two it came with. Overall a good eatery for a midday meal.☺️
