I went to the family table restaurant in North port for lunch and had quite a surprise from this small family restaurant. I ordered haddock and chips. Came with a nice salad and a vegetable. Fish was yummy and portions on the large side. All for 12 bucks. Server was great. Always kept my soda full. Thats important to me. I will definitely be coming back.

Nice restaurant, however Moldy ingredients in omelette. I had more than one bite of moldy taste while eating my omelette, the first bite I thought I was imagining it because a restaurant would not put moldy ingredients in their food and serve it to their customers, but sadly I had another bite in the middle of the omelette to confirm it. I will not be returning there.

We have had the pleasure to dine in here a few times, mainly breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing as well as the seating. It is a unique dining experience. The staff there has always been professional, the prices are amazingly fair for the portion you receive and the quality of food, a lot is homemade and of excellent quality. We have never had a bad experience here. The restaurant is extremely clean from the dining areas to the bathroom. We are all around always happy with The Family Table. Weather you are going alone, a couple, or a large group they can take excellent care of you. The wait time for our food was reasonable as when it came out everything was prepared so well. I also want to recommend our waiter Arnold when you dine in he is an amazingly professional waiter that takes great care of you and makes sure you get everything expected with your dining experience. We look forward to going back and we will make sure to ask for Arnold as he made our day! Not many waiters out there like him he goes out of his way to ensure a great experience. You would think he was the owner (But not) just go there and you will see why!!.

Nice restaurant. Clean. Nice layout, friendly staff. Food was good but not hot. I ordered pancakes and ham. It took all of 30 seconds to get it. As my waitress was walking towards me I figured the food was made ahead. And kept warm, but NOT HOT!!!! It was not cold, and was edible, but not hot as it would be if freshly made. So I can only give this place 4 stars. It is the cook’s fault, and possibly the management for not insisting food be made to order.

Stopped in today with Friends to try this new restaurant. I ordered the gyro platter and selected onion rings as my side. It was amazing! It had plenty of meat & toppings. In our party, orders were for a general salad which was very ample, a Reuben with onion rings. Service was very prompt! Enjoyable lunch for us!

First time here, they have a great breakfast special, 2 eggs, meat, potatoes or grits with toast for $2.99 after drink purchase. Can’t beat it! Over med. eggs cooked perfect. Only complaint, home fries were underdone even after I asked for well done. Service was quick and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Ambiance is comfortable and clean. Bathroom also very clean and pleasant smelling. My family of 4 went recently for dinner and we all had the Gyro Platter. Excellent and the bread was so buttery and perfectly toasted. Service was spot on and the owner checked on us several times. We’ve eaten here several times and have not been disappointed.

Best breakfast restaurant we have found in North Port! Food tasted great and the service was outstanding! Nice atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable. We had a great lunch here previously as well. Fish was cooked to perfection and steamed veggies were delicious!
