I normally don’t do reviews like this, but it has happened more than once. I pull up to the speaker and nobody answers for about 3-5 minutes. The parking lot was nearly empty with no customers inside, but they have about 6 employees working. That is one thing, but every single time I have gone through and gotten food, there are absolutely no napkins in my bag. I specifically asked when I got to the window this last time for some extra napkins in my bag(because I didn’t want to end up with none). I pulled away, and once again, no napkins in my bag. That’s a simple request. I was the only person there. I had to turn around to get napkins, and what do I experience again? A long wait for someone at the window until I had to knock to get the guy’s attention. I am a licensed food management professional, and the reason the person didn’t pay attention is because he was snacking directly from the ice cream machine. I watched him eating in a food preparation area, put his hands all over everything. That’s not only gross, it’s a health code violation. Look, I get it, nobody wants to just work a drive through all day, and everyone deserves a break, but if you’re going to take a job for pay, then do that job with some pride or work somewhere else. I will keep coming here, and I hope to see it improve, but that kind of thing isn’t okay in any capacity. It wasn’t a one off, it has happened on every single visit(and I’m not exaggerating, it’s been every single time). It feels so disrespectful to the people from your community that are routing for you to succeed because you are the only place in town to get a decent grilled chicken sandwich. The employees are polite and kind, yes, even the one that forgot the napkins and ate in a food preparation area. This location needs structure, or it’s not going to do well and last at all, AND I DON’T WANT THAT! Please step it up. I’m a nice guy, but I look rude when having to ask over and over for the same thing. I want to smile at the person in the window when I drive off in hopes it gives them a better day too, and that is something taken from my day when I have to knock on a window just to get some napkins because of the mustard on my hands from my meal. I hope this is taken as a note for improvement, don’t fire people, but maybe train them better? They all seemed great as people, but they don’t do their jobs well at all.(Minus the person that cooked my meal because the flavor was on point chefs kiss to that part). Please do better for our community… We all deserve somewhere we like to go around here. Eastland is limited enough as it is. Thank you.

I have gone to the Eastland Whataburger quite a bit lately and I must leave a GREAT review for them now! The restaurant was clean, and I even saw the cashier wiping the counters down when I came in. The cashier, Debra, did not hesitate to greet me which I always find polite & necessary when in customer service. My salad was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. Debra was extremely polite and helpful — you can tell she truly cares about her job, the company, and especially the customers. It’s so refreshing to be greeted with a friendly demeanor. Thank you for making my visit such a pleasant one!

So excited to review this brand new whataburger got the classic Buffalo chicken sandwich with extra Buffalo. Staff was so sweet and courteous. Good news is they’re open 24 hrs. Meaning eastland will have life early enough for my husband to get breakfast before heading to work at 5 am. Good job guys. This is my new favorite spot!!

Great Texas fast food Burgers. This is a new store and it’s still getting it’s feet under it. Had to wait a bit in the drive thru just for basic burgers. The staff was nice and offered us desert due to the long wait. We will continue to get burgers here.

Manager refunded our money for the whole order of 2lg shakes and 1 Jr. What a burger. It took 2 minutes to place order and receive 2 lg shakes. I took 30 min to get 1 Jr burger and then bite into it and it’s cold. Cheese is not melted. Not good. Gotta do better.

How are they going to charge extra for one ranch if you order a combo meal, never seen that in my life. If you go during lunch they don’t charge extra but if you go at dinner they charge you extra. The amount of times they have given me soggy fry’s and the wrong order they should give the ranch for free.

I have had the Whataburger biscuit and gravy for years at several locations. I was excited to go to the Eastland location this more for biscuits and gravy. I got it and it was terrible. They did not use the recipe that whataburger has. It tasted like great value instant gravy with way to much salt and pepper and no sausage, which is a staple of the Whataburger biscuit and gravy recipe. I am so disappointed. I woke up this morning craving whataburger biscuits and gravy and instead I got great value instant.

Terrible service. I waited more than 30 minutes for a simple salad. I wanted my money back, and they made me wait for that too. Everyone there waiting for food had to wait more than 30 minutes. In the end, they gave me my money back and gave me the food “for free,” but it’s not worth it. I wasted my time, and the food was garbage. There were too many people working and too few customers. They’re definitely poorly organized. I’ll never return to this branch.

I left there a few minutes ago, first off they gave me very cold and old fries I asked if I could get fresh fries they said it would be like 2 mins which I understand. I ate up my burger which was very cold as well and still did not receive the fries I walked to the lady at the counter and asked about it she acted like she went to check and then I could hear them chatting about birthday arrangements they left the front empty an elder man walked in and had to scream hello before anyone came to attend to him. The front had been left empty for more than a min. The guy who served me I told him I needed mayo he said a min and never returned. I think the employees are not taking the whole thing seriously cause I could hear some one complaining of having less than he ordered when I got in I should have taken it as a sign and walked out immediately. Customer service is poor and I just wasted my moneys while I am traveling.

Too many employees on one thing. People need space to work. Took 30 minutes to get food. The second time took about 15 to 20 minutes. Fries and burger were not hot. Got breakfast today and eggs are overcooked with no flavor whatsoever. You guys have got yo do better. It’s not hard to put food out. Put some sense of urgency when serving and making food.
