We went to the Soup Shop for a quick bite in between running errands. There were three of us and ordered different soups. We chose the red bowls, which are the medium size and , along with crackers is a good quick lunch. My grandson added sliders because he felt that just the soup was not enough. You order upon entrance from a picture menu that is really clear and helpful to choose from such a large variety. The place is clean and comfortable for a fast meal. They display paintings for sale that make the white walls more interesting and create a nice atmosphere. Service is good and fast. We would go back but just for what we did , a fast small lunch.

Delicious food!! The chicken and dumpling soup was phenomenal, as well as the chicken pot pie bread bowl, and the salad dressing was really good. Also – love to support locally owned and everyone should give them a try!!

Good service, good soup and other things. We had the creamy garlic tomato soup, which was delicious, a build-your-own-salad, egg salad slider and a pimento cheese slider, and an apple pie cheesecake slice. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was that the lettuce was not very fresh, but they weren’t stingy on the add-ins. I also wish there were more apples in the apple pie cheesecake. Service was very friendly and accommodating.

Disappointed – took nearly 10 minutes to order and 20 minutes to receive our food – a bowl of Lobster Bisque, bowl of Broccoli Cheddar, a whole tuna sandwich, and one fountain soda. Was not told when ordering that the soda machine was out of two of the eight options (including regular Coke). Service wasn’t rude but certainly not friendly. Found out as our food came up at 705pm that they closed at 7pm (no signs on back door). All employees disappeared to the back at that time, presumably for closing procedures. Tuna sandwich was not good – small portion of very dry tuna salad on toasted bread with a single piece of lettuce at $12 (half sandwich in picture – no cheese, condiments, onion, tomato etc were offered). Lobster Bisque was luke warm at best but had good flavor – couldn’t find an employee to tell as all were in the back, so we brought it home to heat up and try again later. Broccoli Cheddar soup was hot and excellent. For $36 plus the tacky but popular option to tip on counter service when you bus your own table, there are better options if you go into Suntree. Hopefully this place finds a solid manager for QC and customer service as people will only come back at these prices if it tastes great and they feel good about their visit – missing both is concerning. We will likely try once more though just in case it was an off day.

Very cute local spot for lunch! I loved my egg sandwich. Very generous size and it came with a bag of chips.
I’ll try soup & sandwich combo next time

I stopped in to get chicken soup for my mom. The price seemed a bit high for amount of soup you’re getting. However prices are up everywhere, I’m sure rent there isn’t cheap. My mom said the soup was okay. I would still go back again to try some out for myself.

Soup was delicious. Service was great.
Unfortunately, the prices are extreme for what you get. Two bowls of soup and a sandwich was $43 before tip.

I am a super big soup and all-around general food connoisseur, and also a cook myself. I don’t mind paying $$$ for quality food, but this was grossly overpriced. $10 for a tiny cup of soup just isn’t it.
I tried the chicken noodle and the pasta fagioli. The chicken noodle was very basic and disappointing literally only about three tiny pieces of chicken smaller than my fingernail. The pasta fagioli was okay, but definitely not worth the $10 price tag.
When my husband picked up the order (I had lost my voice and whispered that I thought I ordered a large), the employee or owner quickly snapped, “This is our large.” Not outright rude, but certainly not friendly either. On the positive side, the young teen at the register was friendly and welcoming.
Another downside: the soup boards in-store had very little description, so I had to use the online menu to figure things out. Oddly enough, the online prices were cheaper for the same location, which was frustrating.
That being said, the atmosphere and establishment itself are 5 stars. Very quaint, cute, and the bathroom was spotless with nice touches. I do want to see small businesses succeed, and I hope this one does it’s already their 3rd location. Maybe the sandwiches are worth the price, but based on my experience, the soup isn’t. Spending $20 for two small cups just doesn’t add up. In comparison the Wawa chicken noodle has way more flavor in the broth more veggies and meat their largest container is only $5.99. Really really wanted to fall in the love with their soups.

I have been going to them in their Melbourne location. Great soups and sandwiches. Large variety of soups. If you are a soup person like me. You will love this place! I’m so happy they opened one in Viera.

French onion soup….
Happy to support a local business and they have a great staff. That said, it hurts me to spend $13 plus tax ($15) and tip for a bowl of french onion soup.
I understand making FO can be labor intensive if you are caramelizing onions for an hour and using fresh broth but it’s so hard to justify cost vs the portion size (with two large croutons) and a dinner roll.
You’re walking away $15+ in the hole, not very full and eating a soup that is pretty basic. I think about how far that money would go elsewhere for lunch or even dinner.
I’ve had other soups here and will try more.
