Sarapppp, one of my favorite bites in the city. Came around 7pm on a Friday, service was great and food came out fast and SUPER fresh. Everything tastes so homey and the flavors are incredible, great portion sizes too. Amazing value overall. You can taste the love in everything you order. I want to bring everyone I know here!

We had an amazing first time dining here. Had the sisig with an option of additional quarter of bangus, canton&bihon combination and, grilled liempo. Oh with “unlimited rice”! Everything was delicious and generous portion. Friendly and hospitable server too Just a little tricky with finding a parking spot.

Been seeing a lot of videos on TikTok about this place so I’ve been wanting to try it. We went on a Monday @ 11 am so there’s only 1 table when we got there. We got lumpia, tapsilog, bangsilog and pork sisig and beef caldereta to go. So disappointed on the food. The beef tapa was so dry and no flavor at all and very chewy/hard not tender. Lumpia was okay. I wish the sauce was the mae ploy dipping sauce. Bangsilog tasted like bangsilog. Sisig to go was actually the only food I liked. The beef caldereta didn’t taste like beef caldereta. Beef was not tender and carrots and potatoes were still hard. Service was good though. The guy working as a server was very attentive and nice. But so disappointed on the food. Did not taste like Filipino food at all.

I lived in the Philippines for 9 years and love authentic home-cooking. This was my first time trying Ruby’s, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Kare-kare (oxtail and vegetable stew). It’s my favorite dish, and they nailed it! Service was also attentive and sweet from Sam. This place is a bit hard for me to get to, but I will definitely be going back!

Ruby’s Fast Food used to be a treasure, a place where the Filipino community and food lovers alike could count on authentic, lovingly prepared dishes that felt like home. Sadly, whatever magic existed here has been completely extinguished under the current ownership.
Let’s start with the most obvious insult: pork adobo is listed on their website, yet when I walked in to place a to-go order, I was told they don’t even make it. If you can’t be bothered to serve the most iconic dish in Filipino cuisine, one that is on your own menu, what exactly are you doing? Update your website, or better yet, update your kitchen.
And speaking of walking in, the hot bar was nearly bare. One single item. That’s it. And even that couldn’t be ordered because it was already reserved. So what exactly is a customer supposed to do? Stand there and stare at an empty steam table? If your hot bar is essentially off-limits and your menu items aren’t being prepared, why are you even open?
The atmosphere inside made things even worse. The chef was openly yelling at the cashier and waitstaff in front of customers. It was unprofessional, unpleasant, and frankly embarrassing. No one should have to witness that when all they wanted was a quiet meal.
The previous owners, a wonderful couple who clearly poured their hearts into this place, understood what it meant to serve the Filipino community. They offered variety, warmth, and a genuine commitment to authentic cuisine. The current management seems to understand none of that. The food quality has taken a noticeable nosedive, and the dessert menu has been gutted. No cassava cake? That is not cutting corners, that is a complete identity crisis.
This place is being run into the ground, and it is a genuine loss for the community. I hope whoever is responsible for these decisions takes a hard look at what this restaurant once was and what they have turned it into. Shameful.

We ran into this place randomly and it was so gooood! It was a cozy place with warm and friendly service. And the food portion was huge! We really loved the crispy pata with garlic rice. It was freshly made and can literally feed 4 people. It was super tasty and crispy and savory with the dipping sauce. Will come back to try other dishes with more friends lol

hands down one of the best filipino restaurants. the food was amazing, and the portions were huge. the food did take a while to come out, but everything was made fresh. my family and i had tons of leftovers, i had two meals afterwards with just the grilled mackerel. the service was also great. definitely worth a try if you haven’t been here

Food is good, but be ready to wait. Service is so slow, they have one guy serving the whole restaurant (though it’s small- 11 tables), but it would be so much more efficient if they had two people running service on a weekend.
Been here multiple times, and i’ve always waited a while for my food. Worth the wait though, i was just feeling stressed for our server.

I was craving Ruby’s famous dinuguan. We drove 1 1/2 hour just to get food. I ordered two order to go. I was surprised that it’s not the same quality as last year. The dinuguan was super salty. It seems like they used some of the old fried meat from pata/ lechon kawali and mix it with meat organs. The pancit was not good . Also, my taho took half hour to be done. Also, I told the lady that we drove far just to have their food. I thought their Filipino food is the best. Sadly, it’s a big disappointment and waste of time.
