Stopped into Great Lakes Coney Island and honestly… I’m still trying to figure out if I accidentally walked into a family reunion I wasn’t invited to. I sat at the bar, didn’t even finish my first breath, and suddenly someone was asking what I wanted to drink like they already knew my order from a past life.
Seconds later—not minutes, seconds—my food was on the grill, and before I could even scroll my phone, BOOM, hot plate right in front of me like they teleported it. I spent less than 30 minutes there and left stuffed, satisfied, and questioning why every restaurant isn’t run with this level of speed and accuracy.
The food? Fantastic. The service? Lightning fast. The vibe? Pure “we’re family here,” without the awkward small talk or someone asking why you never call anymore.

The food was excellent, but the highlight was our waitress, Kenzie. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect. Was out in the area and decided to check this out. Restaurant was clean and service was great! They made us feel like family. Portions were just the right size. The philly steak eggs benedict was perfection as well as the corned beef hash! I also had to snap a pic of their ranch, it was pretty good. Definitely recommend this place and will be back.

We order lunch from here a lot and decided to dine in today.
The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which is quite large.
The food has always come out fast and this was no exception.
Everything is delicious, the sandwiches and salads are phenomenal and their breakfast all day is always great too.
The prices are decent and the portions are great.
Highly recommended.

The food was great! I had the meatloaf special and it was very interesting. The meatloaf had the taste of a normal meatloaf, but instead of serving it with ketchup, it was served with gravy. I was skeptical of the combo, but it was a really great combo, especially paired with the mashed potatoes. The service was great, and all the waitresses worked together to help if the other was busy, so we were always taken care of. I will say the biggest complaint is that you will smell like the cooking when you leave the building. It was a small price to pay for a great meal.
