Phat Jawns is a restaurant and food truck biz. We serve high quality pub style grub. Our Phat Sandwiches are stuffed with all of the things you love! From the Classic Philly Cheesesteak to our custom Jawns, we have a Phat Sandwich for everyone’s palate. Don’t get us started on our wings! We have several sauces/rubs that will awaken your taste buds. We also have something for the kids. Our tator tots, french fries and chicken fingers are a cut above the competition. Whether you sit down at the American Legion as a member or legion guest, place and order for pick up, order via Doordash delivery or grab some grub from our food truck, you will not be disappointed. We have a catering menu and catering venue for all of your events and parties!

Recently moved to the area and heard good things about this place. It definitely did not disappoint! The cheesesteak was delicious in traditional form and in a wrap. The wings with hot honey sauce were delicious as well. We got the fried oreos for dessert which were awesome as well. They offer dine-in or takeout. It’s located in an American Legion building so it’s frequented by many military members. The music was a bit loud but the songs played by the dj matched the vibe well. It was also really cold with all the fans running on full blast. Otherwise, it’s a cool place and we’ll definitely be back!

Been here twice already. The first time was Friday night which was bingo night so the kitchen was very busy and the grill was acting up but I was in no hurry. The bald guy with a beard(forgot his name) keep checking in, handing out food,giving me up dates and overall and freindly awesome guy. I got the mini cheese steak with tomato onion hot pepper and mayo. The mini was more then enough to fill me up. everything came out and tasted amazing. 2nd time got the classic so I could have 2 meals. Once again service and food was 10/10. Would recommend good job Phat Jawns!!

Phat Jawns. THIS WAS SO delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I ordered the sandwich in the picture and the picture does no justice. The pictures I have been seeing made me want to try this place. The wings were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. I wanted to try the sampler and I will the next time I go back which will be very soon!
Today was the first day at the car show they had the food truck up and running. All I kept hearing was wow this food is delicious. I ate inside because it was too cold outside for my taste. The service, atmosphere, and energy were great to be around. Can’t wait to go back Thank you for a delicious lunch, see you soon PHATJAWNS @ the legion hall.

the food is amazing and good quality. the portions are worth the price. great customer service! their cheesesteaks are the best around!!! I recommend you try it at least once, but you’ll definitely be back for more!!

first time trying Phat Jawns. i got the Phat Classic Jawn. it comes with Marinated Ribeye and Cooper Sharp on a Liscio seeded roll.
meat was tender and extremely flavorful. the Cooper Sharp added even more flavor and was mixed in beautifully. i got mine with fried onions; they were chopped small and blended in with everything just right. fantastic ratio of ingredients.
staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, looking forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu!

Came in today and got a chaffle and loaded fries and this was some of the best food I’ve ever had! The sauce on the chaffle was delicious and had the perfect amount of sauce to drench the Sammy. The fries were great, plenty of wiz 10/10. Nick was very nice 🙂

The steak sandwich was not only quickly prepared it was perfect, the cheese was nice and gooey and the seasoning was present and not over the top. Served up on a sesame seed roll. Very generous portions

I was I had more hands so I could this jawn 4 thumbs up. The cheesesteak was unbelievable. It tastes like Jim’s, Geno’s, and Angelo in one. This is my new favorite. Churros were dam good as well.

I stopped in and got a phat jawn cheese steak. The staff is incredibly friendly and the sandwich was huge! The packed it in with all the extras I like…this sandwich did not disappointment. It was delicious!!! If you are in the area, this is a must stop. Definitely will be back!

Let me first start by saying i thought i was lost a there were no signs and it was located inside of the American legion club. Now,
the atmosphere was my favorite. Everyone who walked in knew each other and the staff was very nice. The cook even came out to talk to the customers.
There was a diversity of age, race, and nationalities.The bartender was nice. The place is not overly crowded. I thought the food was kinda regular. I ordered wings but I also added that I wanted them well done, yet it still came to my table soft and rubbery. The flavor was on point buuuutttt, I’m sure it would’ve been more to my liking if it were well done (extra crispy).
It was like eating a well done steak instead of rare, not appetizing at all.
I was very hungry so I almost ate the entire plate, even though it was missing some celery and carrots.
I will be returning to try their cheesesteak wrap. I was told that it is the absolute best food they have on their menu.
It’s definitely a hole in the wall you must check out .
Especially if you’re staying at fort Dix.
