Impromptu date night! this place gets 5 stars and then some! Best Mexican we’ve had so far in town. Best cocktails (an apple bourbon tequila margarita??? And a tequila coconut espresso martini???) and the best waitress/bartender ever named Desiree, who we will be seeing more of in our future . She cared only about making our dining experience memorable and fantastic and they should take good care of her as she’s a stellar server. Thanks Desiree for giving us a great date night we’ll remember!

Desiree, our bartender, is the cat’s pajamas and I can’t say enough great things about eating and drinking in her company. She made our night out a special one with laughter, and incredible energy. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant with a terrific staff, solid menu, and vibrant atmosphere.

Our first time to Dorado and it was excellent. We were lucky enough to be able to be seated on a busy Thursday evening and even had a choice of outside on the sidewalk or in the dining room. We chose inside, but the weather would have made out fantastic as well. Shout out to our server, Zoe. She was very enthusiastic and attentive. Our food was out fast, hot and some of the best Mexican in Rochester. I highly recommend Dorado and we will definitely be back soon, especially for the awesome selection of margaritas.

Absolutely my favorite place, especially in the summer! The shrimp tacos are a must try paired with a delightful margarita on the side! We started off with guacamole and chips 🙂 loveeee! Fresh and cooked to perfection everything was a 10/10 from service, to food, to drinks!!! Love the dining outside on a nice day.

This salmon is just heavenly. This dish is a perfect marriage of spicy, creamy, and savory. The avocado rounds off the pallet by adding the cooling of the spice but still not taking away from the overall dish amazing flavors. Hands down one of the best dishes I have had at Dorado’s.

Nick was our fantastic server and the food was absolutely delicious. We are from Los Angeles and were surprised the food here was better than most Mexican restaurants there! One of the best I’ve ever had to be honest. Don’t miss out on this small gem of a place! I got steak fajitas and my cousin got salmon and Mahi Mahi (Dorado fish) tacos. She said her tacos were very tasty and fresh. We strongly recommend this place. Outstanding in every respect!!!

At 78, I’ve eaten at quite a few restaurants in my day, but this one was a real treat. My daughter took me out for lunch this past week, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. We sat outside on the patio, which was just lovely. Now, I don’t usually order cocktails, but I decided to be a little adventurous and try a mojito. It was refreshing, just the right amount of sweet, and not too strong. As for the food, I had the shrimp tacos and oh my, they were simply delicious. The staff were friendly and didn’t rush us, which I always appreciate. All in all, it was a delightful experience and I will definitely be back!
