First time trying this place out my 2 stars does not reflect the quality of the food its about the value. the sandwich was good and hot but when the chicken is thinner and smaller than duchess and it costs $11 with a bottle of water its kind of hard to justify going back. The tomato was thicker than the chicken everyone wants top dollar for very little food,If you’re giving all lettuce and tomato then price it accordingly!!! Very nice place and looks real clean but you have to give your customers a $10 chicken sandwich especially if it doesnt come with a side….

A hidden treasure! I found this place by chance while visiting the Air & Space Museum (also very good..) I had 2 hot dogs with the works and onion rings. The quality was excellent and the flavors were delicious. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Love the food. Quick to come out. Had this place come out in a food truck for our event and was a hit! Milkshakes are really good. Hamburgers are huge. Love it on sunny days you can watch the airplanes take off and land on the runway across the street. Only downside is it has limited inside seating.

This place is just awesome. You can order online, in person, or in the drive thru and they will bring you the food to your car! Pretty awesome and nostalgic.
Cricket Car Hop is a one-stop destination for classic American comfort foods. The stars of the show are of course the hot dogs, but don’t sleep on their sandwiches, salads, and desserts. The cheesesteak is ridiculously good, and so are the burgers. If getting a dog, definitely get one with their chili on top, which tastes a little more like a bolognese or a Cincinnati-style chili.
No matter what you are craving this Stratford institution will for sure leaving you and your family full, satisfied, and smiling thanks to their fresh food and friendly customer service. Hope to see you there! @fairfieldfooddude

I called ahead and picked up my order at the drive thru. I had a double cheeseburger and French Fries. Everything was ready on time, was hot, and tasted just great.
Definitely will be going here again in the future…

We hired the food truck for a birthday/graduation/summer party and we couldn’t be happier. Nikki’s communication was excellent, from the beginning. Her staff was so wonderful and kind. The food…..what can I even say about that, no one left hungry and the amount of our guests who raved about how delicious everything was, was almost overwhelming haha! Would absolutely love to work with them again in the future. If you’re looking for delicious food and to have 0 stress about making enough for a party, I’d suggest hiring them!

Great prices for most things. Good food all around. The cheeseburger? I can take it or leave it at $6, it was nothing special but that’s it for the negatives. My French fries (which I always ask for well done because I like them crispy) were cooked to perfection. The chili dog was good BUT, the clear winner here, was their version of a hot dog with “the works”. The works here consists of yellow mustard, sauerkraut, sweet red relish (I’ve only ever had hot red relish before so this was a nice surprise) and their in house made hot sauce which is almost like a salsa. The flavors of this hot dog coalesced so wonderfully that I can definitely see myself driving to Stratford (completely out of the way of everything for me) just to get one. Good job, Cricket. I’ve been looking for a new, really good hot dog for awhile now.

My sister’s description of the #FrenchFries at Cricket Car Hop made our mouths water so we had to try them. They are so delicious and taste the closest thing to #Fries at the old Buddy’s on Fairfield Beach Road! We both ordered the “Long Dogs” with “The Works” and although they were filling and delicious – the red relish was a bit too spicy ️ for me. Next time, I will go with green ☘️ relish! Perfect #LaborDay meal.
