From all the other reviews I figured this would be a good place to eat. It’s way more geared to locals. Staff was indifferent to me waiting for even a table. Had to ask, and then once I found a spot had to ask again for a menu. Food selection seemed decent, but the sirloin steak was just adequate. The gravy was lumpy and veggies were very ‘just okay’. Price was on the high side for the quality. Maybe other food is better?
The atmosphere was very much a local vibe as a lot of people turned to look at me when I walked in. This was surprising given the larger size of the place. The inside was pretty ho hum. Could use some updating.
I don’t plan on coming back as it just didn’t leave a good impression. I’ll leave it for the locals as it’s what they’re used to and it seems to be good enough for them.

I just tried the meatloaf tonight and it was scrumptious! It had a browned crust on it and was definately made with love! It was one of the best meatloaves I’ve ever had!

Burgers weren’t great. The kitchen mixed up who got what. I had ordered the olive burger add bacon, with curds and my husband ordered the jalapeno burger with fries. They served the jalapeno burger with bacon and cheese curds. By the time I got back to the table my husband had already half eaten in my burger. I didn’t know until after I bit in and realized I had jalapenos. Thank goodness my mother-in-law wasn’t there because she is allergic to jalapenos. I don’t feel that the food that we were served was worth the $68 we paid. Next time I would opt for not a burger maybe try one of the sandwich options. The pizza, that somebody at our table had was good. The kids macaroni and cheese is amazing. They had good french fries.

Awesome!! This place was an amazing experience.. The food was delicious, customer service was top notch and the dining was welcoming. I would recommend the Cheese soup, it was soooo good. As it should have been being this restaurant is in the CHEESE STATE.. My NY strip steak was done perfectly and you could taste that it was done on a grill. My family members said their meals were really good too. One had the Philly steak n cheese, one had the French Dip, the other had the Zepplin sandwich and one had the Ribeye steak. Our overall experience was two thumbs up and would highly recommend dining here. I would go here again. Thank you to our server Makenzi and the chef. This Minnesotan is full and ready to go to relax

It was very crowded when my son and I went…we had to seat ourselves. The food did take a nice amount of time to get to us and when it did finally arrive my son received the wrong order..he ordered an omelet but received something that looked like biscuits and gravy…either way my son ate it and he said it was good…we had mimosas with our meal which was excellent….I would go back to watch sports and drinks but not really for the breakfast…

Ordered a steake rare, it came out medium well. 2nd go round was a lot better. But then the potato’s and veggies were cold when they came out again. The steak was average. The veggies were nasty so feeding those to my chickens. Definitely frozen veggies. 2nd meal I ordered was the beef filet tips. Mashed potatoes were really good. The beef could use some flavor kinda plain and taste beefy. Cooked good tho… nice and tender. Lots of elder people here but I like that vibe sometimes.

Always a good experience. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip with chips and bread. SO GOOD. Half cheese half Hawaiian pizza. Philly with fries and some hot wings. Their ranch is good too!

“We booked Aces on 29th well in advance for two events (months to a year ahead). Months before the events, we were contacted and told they had double-booked and that our reservation was being canceled. Since then, I’ve called multiple times asking to speak with the owner and keep getting told ‘I’ll let him know,’ but no one has followed up.
My family has hosted 10+ events here over the years, so this was extremely disappointing. The lack of accountability and communication after canceling on us is unacceptable. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional …
