Club on a sub was good , it could of had a little more than a hint of mayo but nonetheless the sandwich was great. Its good for people who don’t desire or can’t handle a lot of salt.

I went to this place 2 times in one week. The first time I ordered online and everything went perfect. Food was ready on time once I made it there. Second time I ordered online and when I got there my food wasn’t ready and they couldn’t find my order in there system. They ended up making my order and giving me a free drink to make up for this issue. Well the ice machine didn’t work so I guess I got a free warm drink. They were nice and tried to fix the issue best they could. It seemed kind of dirty around the drink/ice machine area to be honest so they should tidy up the place more. I was from out of state so I can’t say I will be visiting this place again any time soon.

Firehouse Subs are the best in my opinion. The meat.and ingredients mesh together so well. The bread is fresh. They give you generous amounts of fresh meat slices as well as the veggies. The sauce compliments the ingredients and brings out the flavor. Always a special treat when we are in town.

Visited this Firehouse on Veteran’s Day. They offered buy one get one to vets, so I bought two. They were quick. The restaurant was clean. I would say it holds about 70 seated people. The only issue, if ever crowded, would be two total toilets for everyone. One for each sex. I still recommend. Enjoy!

I’ve been twice recently, both times my sub was haphazardly tossed into the box and everything falling apart. Cheese was skipped even when paying for extra cheese & no pickle even though we asked for it, the store was dirty, floors needed to be cleaned and feet sticking to the floor when you walk in. The subs are good when you reconstruct them but their employees could definitely take a bit more pride in the product they’re serving customers and the cleanliness of their store. This location has gone way down hill unfortunately and would love to see it back to the standard it once was!

Pretty good sandwiches and nice employees. Lots of meat on sandwich. Place was very clean, as they have a dedicated person walking around and cleaning, ensuring you have enough napkins, and wiping down tables. Also saw a sign that said that they now have gluten free bread available.

Best hot sandwich shop in Cookeville. The ingredients were all incredibly fresh and the New York Steamer I got was great. They have all different kinds of chips, including salt & vinegar (unlike some other places). There’s also a Coke Freestyle fountain for innumerable drink combinations. Be sure to download the app to take advantage of their rewards. Staff was fun and friendly, especially the manager whose name escapes me.

I suspect that this place is under new management. The atmosphere has changed tremendously. The service has changed tremendously. The portion sizes have gone below a child’s size. This is the sandwich I received tonight. I had them hold the veggies because I had my own at home. What was left was about three pieces of lunchmeat and some melted cheese and mayonnaise. This isn’t ok. This was $9.43. I think even at $5 I would’ve been upset to have received this. There needs to be a better balancing act here. I understand cutting costs to keep profits high…but when you cut costs so much that it doesn’t lead to repeat business, then you have no profits at all. Do better.

If you like subs this is an excellent choice to eat. I tried the beef brisket and cheddar. It was very good. It came with a pickle spear. It wasn’t too messy to eat with your hands. I only got a sub but you can get a combo with sub and soup. I will definitely eat here again.
