Great food and employees! I always get the Southwestern omelette, grits and toast. Also got a milkshake and it was good too! … Toby G. … Our first time here, …

This place opened its doors recently and they did it with a lot of heart. the breakfast is really a homemade southern breakfast. The owner is always looking after her kitchen and her customers, the kitchen is open, you can see when they prepare your food, they don’t hide anything and that is priceless!
The waitresses are very friendly and if you don’t know their dishes don’t worry, everything is very good!
If one day you come to the Great State of Alabama and you are in the rural area near Wedowee on highway 431 don’t hesitate to visit this restaurant.
Where’s the big pink pig!

My first taste of real southern food.

I got fried chicken tenders with sides of cornbread, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs.

The people at the restaurant were mostly locals, which makes it more likely that the place serves authentic southern food. I had some friends help me out with food selection.

Food was yum and simple, but hit the spot after a long backpacking trip.

They also sell candles, trinkets and other stuff in their store section of the restaurant.

Ran across this little Cafe and stopped for lunch. Had grilled chicken and veggies. The daily special for 9.49. The coffee was really good as I suspected since they have a large coffee bar inside. I saw some frappes going by that looked delish too. The food was not bad. Not sure if the veggies were home cooked, the chicken was tender and juicy. The cornbread was cooked just right. Would like to have had flavor options for the grilled chicken like lemon pepper or Cajun etc but they did have dips. The ranch was good. At the end of meal we’re were given a piece of cake on the house!! It was moist and delish! Place looks new. We will try again.

Very nice place. Great food and prompt service. Lunch special with was only $10.99. Included a meat and two side with a roll, a drink and dessert. Cute little gift shop in the front. Stumbled across this one by accident, and I’m glad I did.

Best advise I can give the owner is
GET YOUR FAMILY OUT OF YOUR BUSINESS! They do not care and they are ruining your business!

Tonight, Pork Chop wasn’t done, still had blood coming out. Creamed Potatoes were cold. When ask for hot potatoes, the cook, your daughter in law, sticks my entire plate in the microwave. Cornbread is now hard as a rock. Husbands steak tasted freezer burnt, like it was thawed in hot water or the microwave. Food is bland and honestly not worth paying for.

I told her( your daughter in law, she was not doing the owner any service. They are killing the business, so sad!! Who wants to pay that much money for food that’s worse than their 10 yr old can cook at home.

Take the steak off the menu
Hire someone that knows how to cook and actually takes pride in their food even if you have pay them more money.
If your going to serve instant potatoes, add some butter and a little seasoning and make sure they don’t serve them made with cold water.

There is a reason why people wait for 30 to 45 mins for a table at the Mexican Restaurant and your restaurant is empty.

I hope you take this as constructive and make some changes because it really could be a nice restaurant. We’ve ate here several times but we want be back.
