Incredible food!

My car broke down and I came to a stop in their parking lot, it was DESTINY! The best Mexican food I ever had in my life!

I have traveled the entire united states and lived in Colorado, Nevada, California. And it is a HUGE deal for me to say they are #1, trust me. My old #1 which is now #2 was in Colorado also, but there is no comparison. Fresh, delicious and authentic.

Not stopping here to eat is an injustice to yourself, if traveling I-70.
They let me keep my car there 4 days until I could get to it. The restaurant is beyond clean and the people are super nice. I am a customer for life now.

Anyone who wrote, or writes a bad review about this place, needs a serious mental evaluation.

They have amazing Mexican style food. I had their Mexican Breakfast plate and it was delicious. There pancakes are also good. I picked at my husbands plate and his food was just as good. If your driving down I-70 I definitely recommend you stop by.

Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean.
Hours seem wishy washy so call first. The day we ate there they were closing at 2:00.
Nice waiter
We were told they were out of shredded chicken or beef for enchiladas and tacos.
We ordered a hamburger, a grilled ham & cheese, and a sirloin. It was all pretty good.

This is one of the best breakfast I have ever had.!:I’m a truck driver by profession so I travel most of the country eating breakfast anywhere I can along the way. I saw the gypsum grill from off the highway they also have a few large truck parking spots across the street their steak and eggs is to die for.the food the coffee and the service was all top notch. I will definitely be back…

The dining area was clean and the server was courteous. That’s the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a soda. 15 minutes before my meal was ready I was given a 12oz can of soda and a glass, when asked about another I was told it would be an additional 1.99; I passed. When my burger arrived the bun was stale, the patty reminded me of a discount hamburger patty sold in bulk. The fries were hard and looked to have been made 15 minutes before being servered and left on the plate. It wasn’t a good place to eat at all.

Been going here for almost fifteen years. I’m in love with their steak burrito. But every time I’ve came by, they were always closed. Be nice to know their hours, for sure, cuz I’ve always been a consistent customer who always orders the same thing.

Food was ok. Steak wasn’t worth $20. Younger guy working there that seemed to be in charge was friendly to customers but a jerk to employees. Young girl helping me was very friendly but seemed to be overwhelmed with the job. But that could have been from the guy there. If your a trucker like me coming through the area it’s ok but I wouldn’t make an effort to stop here.

Came in right before close so didn’t expect much. Ordered Mexican and a cheeseburger. Burger was good, fajitas ok but the enchiladas were tasteless. The beans were crusted over. The salsa was surprisingly good though. They charged us 4.50 for two cans of Pepsi and we had to chase the waitress down to get a refill of coffee. Getting loaded at American gypsum at closing and not having the hours to get over the mountain back do Denver makes options limited so at least we got something to eat tonight.

We came with family and expected to have a quiet breakfast. However the lady was consitintaly rude and annoing. When my mom ordered the kids juice she replied “well what kind of juce?!” After my mom finally got 2 orange juice out of her she brought them back on a black tray, when she lifted the cups off the tray she touched all of the outer rim with her hands and there was no straws to ues, so we had to drink out of cups that have been saturated with germs on her hands. My brother ordered a birrito, he took a bite… only eggs and a tortilla. The bill was insane considring that we only ordered a burrito and a few orange jucies. The lady was not dressed approitly and was very rude. Dont go here if you are looking for a good place to eat.

Rude waitress, my friend literally had a loogie, or a jizshot in her drink. The waitress replied “sorry I don’t pay attention to the glasses I grab”. Also when asked what sides come with French toast, she said “French toast” with an attitude. We all felt like we were inconveniing her with our presence. My review, wait until you get to Glenwood Springs for food, unless you want a trashy waitress that tries to be nice at the end for a tip. Food was ok at best. If you are super desperate, eat there. I’m promise the service is better at the gas station next to it. McDonald’s is by far a better option for food, and more importantly, service. If your a waitress at 60+ like the one we had, just be happy when your there and remember you have it way better!
PS I feel like all of us should give the person that paid for our meal her money back. IF THE OWNER READS THIS, he or she should fire the old trashy waitress!!
